"You okay Sunshine?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked towards Aaron. Having a beer in his hand, he was seated on the couch with one leg on top of the other. He had discarded his leather jacket as soon as we entered the club and his grey t-shirt was giving a delicious view of his perfect toned chest.

"Yeah, why?", I asked.

He shrugged,"You seem a little off."

He's right. Even though I acted all brave in front of Kelley but her words are still ringing in my head. Watch your back! I don't know what she is planning but I'm having a bad vibe about it.

No! I'll not let her mess up with my relationship of Aaron. I won't let her snatch my happiness.

Remembering that Aaron is still waiting for my answer, I pick up my rum and coke from the table and look at him.

"I'm fine. Just some work stress."

I gulped my drink in one shot and waved at the waiter.

"Get me another rum and coke and this time, make it stronger.", I ordered.

When he returned with my drink, I again gulped it all.

"Easy there Rach, we don't want you passed out on the couch now, do we?"

"So what if I pass out on the couch? I have you by my side to take me home safe and sound.", I winked.

Smirking, he said,"Well if you're going to pass out on me, it gives me a nice chance to take advantage of you."

"You don't have to wait for me to pass out for that. If you wanna take advantage of me, just do it.", I slurred.

Rum really works fast!

Looking around, I notice that almost all the females in the room are eyeing Aaron lustfully.

Wanting them to show who he belonged to, I stood up and extended my hand to him,"Dance with me?"

Without a second thought, he took my hand and directed me towards the dance floor.

My steps were not very stable because of the rum but Aaron's hands around my waist balanced me. I brought my hands to his neck and inhaled the minty smell of his.

"Do you have any idea where Aish and Noah are?", he asked.

"I'd really like to say that they must be making out somewhere but I guess it's too soon. They still don't know the attraction they feel for each other.", I chuckled.

"What? Aish and Noah!"

"Don't tell me you haven't noticed. It's so obvious they like each other."

"No, they hate each other. They'd probably rip each other's head off if left in a room alone for more than ten minutes."

"Their so called hate is just a mask to hide their true feelings. Anyways, leave them. They'll probably be in someone else's arms getting lucky."
