"Come on, I'm Johnny. You know that I need a bag on the regular, Doyoung.", he whines.

That's him. It must be him. Doyoung's friend??? follower??? partner??? Honestly, I don't know he might even be his brother. However, I do know that he's conducting the same illegal business as Doyoung. What a strange fate to run into him in the subway. I mean the likelyhood for this to happen is almost zero. Doyoung and I must be somehow connected by fate.

I keep my eyes fixed on Johnny and continue eavesdropping on his conversation with Doyoung.

"No, seriously Doyoung. I get that you're sick and stuff but didn't you promise me yesterday that you'd barge into this bar and rob those f*cking bankers. You were the one to suggest this in the first place.", he says and raises his voice lightly so that Doyoung might notice it but not other people in the train (at least those who aren't focusing on his situation...). So Doyoung in fact abandoned the plan to mug the bankers. Frankly, I'm glad he did so even if it's because of some apparent illness. But this Johnny person - contrary to Doyoung -  doesn't give off good vibes.

"Yes, I know I know. You've done a lot for me in the past but didn't I repay everything by doing good deeds??? I introduced you to my squad. Don't I at least get a thank you for this???", he mocks and smirks at the end. The way he pronounced every single word makes me sick. He's obviously playing with Doyoung. People like him make me sick. He's one of these people that sound super nice when you're texting with him but once you speak with them face to face or on phone, their real, rotten personality shines through. Disgusting.

"Nina, you listening?", someone suddenly asks and trys to get my attention by waving his hands in front of my face. oH right. Taeyong is still there.

"Yeah, of course. I like the cheesecake on the menu the best, too.", I mutter still deeply focused on the person across from me.

"Nina wtf I wasn't talking about the menu, I wanted to know whether we can change shifts next weekend.", Taeyong laughs awkwardly. That's when Johnny got conscious of what happens across of him, too. He quickly puts his phone on his lap and makes eye contact with me, which startled me pretty much. Pretty much a lot to be exact. As he lays his pitch black eyes on me, I flinch slightly, however, just so that he'd notice. A greasy smirk immediately grows on his face.

"Eavesdropping, huh?", he chuckles and stands up demonstrating his intimidating appearance. He's tall, even taller than Doyoung I think. Now getting a closer look it also seems like his suit's some marks from being worn a lot. But he sure does look like some con artist or scammer. Just totally unlikeable.

"I'm sorry, she tends to daydream a lot. You must've felt very irritated because of this, I apologize on her behalf.", Taeyong quickly says in my defence. There he goes again. Taeyong, I'm thankful for you standing up for me, but I can do this myself.

"Yes, Sir, I'm sincerely sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. I must've stared in your direction for quite a long time making you feel uncomfortable.", I apologize and bow. Honestly, why am I apologizing for staring at someone for too long, but admiting eavesdropping isn't an opportunity.

"Don't just half-ass these apologies. I can sense that you don't mean it. Sweetie, watch yourself in the future or else you could get into serious trouble. You're lucky that I'm all nice and stuff.", he growls bending down a bit making me take a step back. He's still unlikeable.

"Sweetie, you wanna say something?", he adds now coming a lot closer than before. Now that is way too close. I'm usually very stubborn, however, not now. Having a man, who is almost 2,5 heads taller than you, look at you as if he wants to kill you is a very unpleasant feeling, you know?
