ANNA LAZILY WALKEDTOWARDS her locker,feeling okay for once. She didn't have any sick feelings, she didn't have any whispers in her head. She did however scream the night of the fundraiser. Thankfully she wasn't at home, she was out for a calming walk after a nightmare. She suddenly felt this urge to go to the Salvatore house, so she ran there. Anna never knew she had strength to run so far, but the next thing she knew she busted through the door of the boarding house in her pajamas.
She saw her uncle, dead on the ground, and Damon with a bloody stake in his hand. By the end of the small encounter, Damon was passed out when she was back to normal. The rest of the night was incredibly interesting, since she watched her uncle resurrect from the dead. It turned out Alaric's ring that his late wife had given him long ago brought him back to life.
The rest of the week was quiet, which was rather unusual for the gang. She met the rest of Elena's close friends, like Tyler, Matt, her brother Jeremy, and had gotten closer to Jenna. She also got closer to Caroline, Alex, and Bonnie as she got more and more distant with her mother. Her and Stefan, they got the closest.
It was about three in the morning when she called him after a nightmare. She was in dire need of mental help, because the whispers were so loud in her head.She found out the truth of the sore arms because he had compelled her to forget, which made her a little mad at first, but then the two talked all night about everything. The next few days were the exact same. It was safe to say Anna and Stefan were best friends.
Anna grabbed her stuff from her locker with a small growing smile when she felt someone leaning up against her locker. She sighed playfully as she looked at the bubbly blonde that had a giddy smile on her face.
Anna already knew Caroline was going to gush about her new boyfriend, Matt. She had just recently found out that Caroline had always came to her with news and stories because Matt was Elena's ex, which really got Anna interested.
"Let me guess," Anna's voice suddenly became a mockingly high pitch. "'Matt was so cute today in third period. He picked me up from class, and he kissed me... In front of everyone!'" Caroline rolled her eyes playfully at Anna trying to imitate her.
"Not the story I was gonna tell, although that did happen." This time Anna rolled her eyes.
"Stefan, Elena, Matt and I decided on a double date." Anna scrunched her face in worry.
"Yikes. Are you sure it won't be awkward? I mean, do you really think it would be a good idea to go on a double date with your boyfriends ex? Who is very happy with another attractive man?" Caroline raised her eyebrows, making Anna look at her in annoyance while closing her locker shut. "You said it, not me."
