"Yeah this is it." Emily said from the backseat of Jin's car. Yoongi was driving it. Princeton and Yoongi would have flown with her here but she had warned them that it would take forever as the location was quite far.
Yoongi killed the engine and scowled at what he was seeing so far. "But . . ."
Prince climbed out of the car and stood with hands on his hips, looking around. Emily and Yoongi got out also. They had untied her because they realized that she really wouldn't do anything and was not dumb enough to get herself seen by the CIA. She was wanted and when she was found she would most likely be imprisoned. "Ummm . . . what am I looking at?"
Yoongi growled. "Nothing! There's nothing here! Where are we?!" Over the long drive he had become even more tense by thinking of their problems. Namjoon's frequent updates on the blackhole's alarming growth did not help either. Their leader was in the process of creating something to hopefully lessen its growth or at least something to hide it from NASA. The latter would be more plausible. Right now they were standing in a sandy area with cacti and an empty highway.
Yoongi looked to Emily. "Where are the people?!"
Emily stepped away from him a bit.
Prince held Yoongi's arm gently and told him to calm himself. "Look, you don't have to be so tense okay? Emily was clearly going to tell us where we can find them. Heck, she said they were underground. So they must be underground of this desert place right?" He looked at the girl.
Emily nodded. "Yeah they are. Come on." She looked at the frustrated Yoongi. He had scared her a while ago but she understood where he was coming from. If only I had told earlier. Now it might be too late. And they had to take on the burden of the world all on their own. That was the saddest part to her.
When the girl starting walking them to a little empty wooden house they followed her.
Princeton looked at Emily's back. He knew that they agreed to trust her but what if this was a set up of some sort? Would she turn on them?
"Keep your guard up." Yoongi whispered into Prince's ear as they followed the girl, keeping a five foot distance away from her.
Princeton swallowed thick. Yeah I will. Not just for her but for you too. Yoongi was still ambiguous after all. How did my life even turn into this? Was the question he kept asking himself every day.
"Here." Emily said when they were right before the house. She faced the two guys. "I know it looks like nothing but you gotta trust me on this one. Go stand over there okay?"
The guys looked at each other then at her.
Emily picked up quickly. "Fine, I'll describe to you why I've asked you to do so." She banged a fist at the shaky wall of the house and then a holographic looking number panel floated off of it.
It startled Princeton. "Wh-whoa. Talk about high-tech."
"Indeed." Yoong agreed deadly. He really hoped to the gods above that the ones back home were figuring out a way to get Hannah back to them. The maknae is acting suspicious. Something was up. On top of everything else that is. Why was it that when they needed Jungkook he was useless? He was not as strong and Yoongi could sense why. He's using the amulet-
"I'm going to type a code into this panel and when I do a transportation tube is going to appear around you two. I'll join you afterwards and we'll all be transported to the underground bunker." Emily expressed trying to look as not suspicious as possible. Was it working?
The guys looked at each other again. "Why can't we just climb in after you punch in the numbers?" Prince asked of her skeptically.
"In the interest of time?" That was what had been on her mind.
