"Is he coming?" Jimin whispered to Perrie from behind her. He was hiding behind one of the the couches of their apartment.
"Shh shh he's nearly here. Prod's with him." Perrie announced in a whisper to all of her friends. She had been using her ability to look through solid objects to look out the door to see if Hoseok was on his way.
The apartment was decorated with 'Happy Birthday' balloons as well as ornaments and banners. It may have been the end of March but they were still going to throw a party for Hoseok's birthday which had passed since February.
It was just really unfortunate to all of them that so much had been happening when Hobi's special day had rolled around. He had been very excited about throwing a huge party and inviting all of his favourite celebrities but it did not work out that way. During their recovery he had mentioned that he wanted to have a small party with them all alone but as the month went by he had seemed to lose taste for it and had said that they should all focus on becoming better. He had not seemed to mind that things did not work out but his friends actually did. He deserved a party as far as they were concerned.
That was why Leigh, Jimin and Taehyung had pushed for them to orchestrate a scheme where they got Hoseok to go out with Prod so that they could decorate the house and get eats and drinks for him to see when he got back. Of course, he could not actually leave to roam around the city on his own since they were basically still in hiding but they were able to get permission from the agents to send him on a little walk around the outside of the building. That gave them enough time to set up something special for him.
"Okay guys remember, when he walks through that door we've all got to hop up and yell 'Surprise!' okay??" Leigh-Anne whispered where she was hiding. Their apartment was dark.
"Yes Leigh we get it. It ain't rocket science." Ray rolled his eyes.
Jungkook became nervous. "W-wait what do we say?"
Everyone groaned.
"He's here!" Perrie shouted as the door opened up.
"Surprise!" Taehyung hopped to his feet even before Hoseok flipped the switch for the light to come on.
"No! No!" Leigh-Anne's life tore apart.
Hoseok turned the light on and gasped. "Ahhh! Someone has invaded our home to decorate it with cheap party decorations! Prodigy get the bat!"
"Surprise!" The rest of them jumped up and blew their kazoos.
Prodigy joined the rest of them and did jazz hands.
Hoseok screamed by their sudden outburst. He held his chest.
"Happy Birthday Hobi!" They all said together.
"We will miss you!" Jungkook shouted absentmindedly. He figured that if this was anything like the party they threw for Jesy when she was going away to that island that that meant that he should say that.
Hoseok stood there in stun.
Jin blew his kazoo again. "Happy Birthday! Do not just stand there and stare at us. You are making us appear as if we are fools."
Hoseok suddenly gasped loudly.
It startled Roc. "Y-you okay man?"
Leigh began to buzz with happiness. "Guys he's grateful for our efforts!" She hopped up and down while clapping and then bounced up to Hoseok like a bunny. She then hugged him and gestured to all of the decorations and snacks. "Look Hobi! We did it all for you! All for you! Yaaaay! We love you!" She kissed him on the cheek and hugged him.
