Harry's P.O.V

I woke up to light streaming through my window. I looked over at Ron and saw that he was still aleep. I grunted and got up and changed.

Once I was ready, I walked downstairs. I looked around for Jo, but she wasn't there. Huh. She's usually waiting. I guess she's still asleep.

I shrugged it off and started to walk down with Dean, who had been sitting in the common room.

"You're not still mad at Seamus, are you?" I huffed.

"I don't know, mate. I just can't believe one of my closest friends doesn't believe me." I stated. He shrugged.

"The Daily Prophet does make it look pretty bad. I don't really kniw what to think." I sighed. We walked into the Great Hall.

For some reason, my eyes darted around, looking for Jo. I had this feeling... I don't know.

My eyes rested on Hermione, who was sitting alone reading a book as she ate. I walked over to her and sat down, Dean taking a seat next to me.

"Hullo Hermione." I said. She looked up at me.

"Have you seen Jo? She wasn't in our room when I went to bed, though we all saw her go to the girls dormitories. I didn't see her come down. And her dress from last night isn't in the laundry bin. She wasn't there this morning either." My heart came to a stop. Where is she?

"Well, maybe she snuck by us and took the invisability cloak somewhere. You know her, always pranking with the twins." I offered.

Hermione took a breath and nodded.

"Well, I ought to go to the library. Studying won't do itself." She said. She closed her book and walked out of the Hall.

I looked over at the grandfather clock. It's 8:30 and first hour is in 30 minutes. Where is she? Even Ron is here now, taking a seat next to me, where Hermione just was.

"Hey, mate. Whatcha worrying about?" He asked me. I took a breath.

"I was wondering where Jo was. Hermione said she wasn't in there when she went to bed and not this morning either." He rolled his eyes.

"Man, she's probably taking a walk or some thing before class." Or something...

I looked over at the Slytherin table. Sure enough, Malfoy wasn't there. Great. Just great. She's been out all night with Draco.

I started eating, thinking up the mouthful I would give her when I saw her next, probably in Care of Magical Creatures. I finished eating quickly.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and made my way to C.M.C.

Luckily, this class was doubled with Slytherin, so I could confront both Jo and Malfoy.

I got there a tad early. Hermione, of course, was already there. I stood next to her.

"How do you reckon Grubbly-Plank is as a teacher?" I asked. She shrugged.

"No idea."

I sighed and waited for everyone to show up. Ron showed up and not long before him, the blonde git.

I walked right over to Malfoy, Ron right behind me. I decided to try I nice approach. He eyed me as I walked up. "Have you seen Jo? No one knows where she is and you were the last person that she was out with." Just for a second, I saw a glimmer of worry in her eyes.

"You think I took Jo?" He asked me disbelievingly. I rolled my eyes.

"I think she snuck out of her dorm to see you last night because she was overjoyed that you told her you love her." I said. He smiled a little, but I pretended not to notice.

"I haven't seen her. But if you find her, tell her to come talk to me." I nodded and walked away. Ron started chuckling. I looked at him questioningly.

"What?"

"I think that was the friendliest conversation you've ever had with Malfoy." I smiled a little then turned to Grubby-Plank, who was calling the class to order.

It's lunch and we still haven't found Jo. I was scared to death that something had happened to her. Looking across the room, I saw that Draco looked a little unsettled as well. I guess he hadn't seen her either. Fred and George walked up and looked to me.

"Have you seen Jo? She was supposed to meet me us in the common room half an hour to talk about... plans." Fred - or was it George - asked. She didn't show up for a prank? Oh this is terrible. I shook my head.

"No. I've been looking for her all day." The two looked at each other.

"Have you checked her dorm?"

"Asked Dumbledore?"

"The Map?"

"Malfo-" I cut them off.

"The map! I lent it to you guys two days ago. Do you have it?" I urged. George shuffled through his bag and came out with a piece of parchment. He handed it to me. "I solemnly swear I am up to no good." I stated. I opened the map quickly.

Most people were crowded in the Great Hall, where names were overlapping, but I knew she wasn't here. I searched the whole map - three times - and she wasn't there. I took a deep shuddering breath. "She's not here." I said. A new voice joined our conversation.

"How can she not be here? There's no where to go and she hasn't learned to apperate yet!" It was Draco. For once, I didn't mind that he saw me with the map.

She's gone.

Just gone.

Voldemort.

Oh dear Harry. Always jumping to conclusions. I'm not sure if I'm going to let them find out what happened or not. I hope you enjoyed! Please leave me comments, suggestions, anything. I love you all and remember the magic. <3 - Rebeka
