Journey's P.O.V
I walked into Hogsmead with a frown. As soon as I see a ballgown that slightly resembles the one that I wore to the Yule Ball, I'm going to break down. I've been trying to hide it, but I just miss everyone so much. It's hard to not have the people closest to you with you. I mean, it's great to be with my parents and all, but Harry is my twin. He's the only family I have until Sirius is free.
I sighed as Alice grasped my wrist and we made our way into Galdrags Wizardwear. Most people believe that they sell only robes, but they sell for all occasions. The dresses here are more poofy and princessy.
Lucky for us, there were no lines. No one would want to come here for their dresses. They all want to go to Madame Maggie's Dress Emporium for newer dresses or they're getting costumes.
I steered away from all the green dresses. Though green looks good on me, I do not need any reminders of what I wore to the Yule Ball. Lily, on the other hand, went right for them.
I found about 4 nice dresses and held them over my arm. I found Lily with a mountain of green, making me wince. At least she knows what looks good on her. With those eyes, there's no way green looks anything but fantastic on her.
Alice, on the other hand, had many blues and whites. We all walked into the dressing room together. It's only one room because some of these dresses are really poofy and need loads of space. We change in the dorm in front of each other, so no one really minded.
After trying on tons of dresses and getting approval from each other, we went up to pay. A guy walked up to us with a bright smile. "Oh girls! Are these your dresses for that ball that is going on?" The guy was most definitely gay (no hate).
I smiled. "Yes, they are." He grinned.
"So, do you girls have lovely dates?" He asked.
"I do!" Alice exclaimed.
"Same here!" Lily said with a giggle.
'I don't." I said. I wasn't too upset. I mean, what would Draco do if he ever found out that I went to a dance with another guy? He would be heart broken! I couldn't do that with him.
"Oh, my dear, is there no special guy out there?" He asked. I shrugged. He pouted. "I'm sure he'll find you at the dance." Again, I shrugged.
The man checked us out and we headed off. "Do you guys want to go down to the Three Broomsticks?"Alice asked. I nodded along with Lily.
"I could use a butterbeer after that torture." I said quietly. Lily rolled her eyes.
"What really is so bad about going to the dance? I mean, you said you can't dance but you seem pretty light on your feet. And you said you don't like dresses, but when I first met you you were wearing a dress! Plus, when you found that dress, you seemed pretty happy. So, what is the real reason." I sighed. Busted.
"I-I... The last dance I went to I was asked to be the guy I am in love with's girlfriend. I said yes. I feel like going to a dance without him is betraying him. Especially if I get a date." They both stared at me.
"You have a boyfriend?" Lily asked. I nodded. "Oh. That's why you didn't want to go on that date with Remus. You should have told me!" She exclaimed. I rolled my eyes.
"Remus already knew that it meant nothing because he knows about Drake." I almost slipped and said Draco. Dammit. I can't do that.
"Ohhh. Drake. Sounds hot." Alice said. I felt blush creep up my cheeks.
"Yeah. He is." I said. I wanted to shake the image of him, the tingling on my lips, and all thoughts of him so I would miss him less." As we walked into the Three Broomsticks, Alice told me that they are going to give me major questioning.
