Klaus' Trip To Wonderland

Time Up...

If you asked me I honestly couldn't tell you how I got here, running through Time's castle with all my friends (still strange to think that I have friends) trying to keep time from ending.

After seeing the hatter and being kicked out for not believing his family could still be alive I spent the evening with my mate, something I had not had the chance to do as of yet.  From the time we met we were always running, running from the red knights or the red queen, my being locked in a jail cell seperated from her, the only time we had to ourselves was the night before the battle, and even after that we were separated yet again.  So you could understand my happiness at the idea of spending the rest of eternity in a land that doesn't seem at age all that much with my mate, no worries of Mikael or my siblings or any other enemy that may want to hurt me or my mate, and here I am, yet again, running.  I may be a vampire and able to do it for quite a long time, but I am starting to hate running.

Unknown to me, Alice had stolen the Chronosphere, the only device in existence that can enable you to time travel.  She discovered the hatters family is alive and was being held by the red queen, He now has them back but in the oddest possible form, shrunken in an ant farm...wish I had that kind of thing when my family displeased me through the years, it would have been kinder than daggering them...

Back to the running.  It seemed everything was completely freezing, now covered in some kind of stone.  "Run Alice!"  Mctwisp shouted, jumping from a platform and hopping along side us and I knew as we came to a fork in the hallways, seeing the stone spreading down the walls and all that laid in its path, that we were next.

"I love you pet."  The words came out of my mouth before I even thought about it but I pulled my tiny mate closer to my body and nuzzled her throat, taking in her scent one final time.

"I love you too Niklaus, more than anything."  She was shaking, terrified and clinging to me so tightly I could feel her claws, that were not usually on display, digging into my arms.

"I've lived 1000 years and had no better day than today just being with you.  I always thought that in the end we were left infinitely and utterly alone, but you...you spared me of that and I wish we had more time kitten."  Her fear only made her scent more intoxicating and I held her so close there was no space between us, her face in my chest.

"I was so lonely for so long, thank you for finding me, I cherish the time we did have together but..."  She pulled back to look in my eyes as the stone reached us, freezing our friends, getting closer to us, I felt my feet stick to the floor and it spreading up my legs as our eyes met.  "...times up."  She connected our lips as she said this and the world went dark.

(Sorry it's so short but several people were rushing me, I know you've been waiting a long time, and that this story is almost over as the next chapter will be the last but I hope you like it)
