She was the sworn sister and wife of Ling Tong though in some texts, they had a relationship not unlike the one her sister had with Gan Ning and had a daughter named Ling Zhen. She also has a pet panda named Táohuā, who accompanies her almost everywhere she goes as well as a white tiger named Kimichi. She is also the maternal aunt of Gan Zhi.
