Chapter 4

Snow's POV

Break time. Buong klase wala akong naintindihan. Feeling ko sasabog ulo ko sa sakit. I am deprived of sleep! Oh world why so rude?

I unconsciously hit my forehead on god knows what part of school am I! My head hurts like crazy. Tapos madadagdagan pa! Could this day get any worse?

Bumalik lang ako sa ulirat ng maramdaman ko ang mahinang pagtapik sa balikat ko. "You okay?" Dahan-dahan kong inangat ang ulo ko para tingnan kung sino ang tumapik sakin. Si Carla, isa sa mga kaklase ko.

"Im perfectly, sleepily fine." I said as I headed to one of the vacant table. Tumango naman siya at umalis na din. Ganon ako kaantok para di marealize na nasa canteen na pala ako! My gosh Snow, what kind of level of stupidity you have!

Saktong pagtungo ko naman ay narinig ko ang bulungan ng mga tao sa canteen. I lazily lifted my head up, just to see August walking gracefully towards me. Yep, the August effect. No one can ever outdo that.

"Your not your usual self Snow! I heard your not feeling well today, what happened?" Ayon ang bungad niya pagka-upong upo niya sa tapat ko. Bakas sa mukha niya ang pag-aalala.

"I'm just sleep deprived." sabi ko at tumungo na ulit.

"Have you eaten already?"

"Kuya Ralph cooked a heavy breakfast this morning, I'm still full. I just wanna sleep." Ikinumpas ko pa ang mga kamay ko sa harap niya habang nakatungo.

"Pakiramdam ko sasakit din ang ulo." She said as she makes the typing sound from her phone.

"Hmmm?"

"I'm getting married." Automatic na napaangat ako ng may nanlalaking mata.

"What?!" I shrieked.

"You know. Duty calls."

Now its my turn to ask her. "Are you okay?"

She heaved out a deep sight. "Nah, don't worry. I'm okay. Besides I don't have any guy I like in particular so its okay. Its just that the guy I'm about to marry is too good to be true! And for some weird reason I hate him for that!" She really looks frustrated.

Ewan ko kung ako lang ba. Pero napalingon kaming lahat ng bumukas ang double doors ng canteen para iluwa ang isang gwapong lalaki! Pero mas gwapo si Andrei! What?!!

August rolled her eyes as the guy walk to us. Mas lalo tuloy lumakas ang bulungan.

Marahas na tumayo ang bestfriend ko at naglakad palayo. "August Bernadette Celiz, where do you think your going?" She waved her hands at me.
