Ella's POV
Dear Diary, 5-01
Omg, it's been so long since I wrote in my diary. It's been what, like 4 months? Anyways, I have so much going on right now.
Chris and I moved into a bigger house. It's a 4 bed and 4 bath. It's amazing. Chris even let me have a filming and makeup room for when I start my YouTube channel. Ever since he gave me the idea of selling lashes online, business has took off. I quit my job and started working from home now. I made over $20,000 in the past few months.
Our relationship has gotten a lot stronger ever since we moved. It was strong before but now that I'm independent and not really relying on him for anything, it's gotten a lot stronger. I'm making a lot more money, and I'm getting it on my own. I got me a car, too! I'm so proud of myself, and I'm even more proud that Chris kept faith in me for so long now that I succeeded.
Artist and I haven't communicated much lately. We smoked together a few times but other than that, we haven't spoken. He's tried to get me to let him fuck a few times but I denied him. My loyalty to Chris is important. He helped me when I was at rock bottom and Artist don't even wanna buy me food off the dollar menu.
But I guess that really sums it up. I hope to open my own boutique in the coming year. That would make me really happy, knowing I made it that far without my Mama or anybody else. Except Chris of course. He's the only person I need.
His birthday is in a few days. I already know what I'ma gonna get him. He asked for weed but I wanna get him something he'll be able to remember. I 'ma still get his goofy ass some weed, but it's something else I KNOW he'll love.
I closed my book and grabbed my phone. I had 2 missed calls from Chris. I called him back and he answered after 2 rings. "Hey baby girl."
"Hey, sorry I missed ya calls. I was writing. Wassup tho?"
"It's all good ma. I called to let you know I'm finna get on the radio show." he said. He flew out to L.A. to do some shows and for this interview.
"Alright, I'ma be listening babe."
"Aight, love you big head."
"Love you too." I said, then hung up.
I turned to the station and listened as they welcomed him. They started asking him questions and I turned it up.
"So how does it feel to be nominated for a BET Award?" the interviewer asked.
"It feels great, knowing that my music is recognized on such a high level." Chris said.
"That's great. So how's your personal life been? Is everything been good behind the scenes?"
"Yeah of course, of course. It's been amazing. My girlfriend, Ella and I moved recently and she's doing her beauty thing. I been making hits in the studio so yeah, it's been great."
"Sounds good.. What about Ella?"
"What about her?" Chris asked.
"She's a girl from the Bronx. What made you fall for her?"
"She's a dope person. She's pretty and caring. I couldn't ask for a better partner. I guess it's cuz she so different."
"What makes her so different?" the man asked, sounding intrigued.
"She's unpredictable. She actually takes great care of me, I know she'll be a great mother to my baby one day." Chris said making me smile.
"When you say unpredictable, what do you mean by that?"
