On his way to lunch, Evan pulled Thad aside.

"So, you and Connor still seem like a happy couple. Stop it."

Thad gave him a look that clearly said 'never.'

Evan sighed. "I told you to get him out of the way. Get him completely gone, or I won't stop bothering you. I can't tell you how..." Evan seemed to think. "Well, I can't bother someone who's dead. But I'm sure that you don't mean enough to him to make him kill himself if you leave."

Thad gripped Evan's tie. 'Get away from me,' he mouthed, shoving him back and leaving.

He walked to lunch, ticked off. There's no reason he'd listen to such an idiot.

But... he bit his lip. He wasn't going to tell Connor what he said. He didn't want him to know that someone wanted him to die.

No. He'd tell him he was still bugging him, but not exactly what he said.
