Alyson stood up and left the barracks, barging past our bodyguard. He really didn't expect it and fell to the floor. I ran over and helped him up, and I could see the tears in his eyes. He knew his friends died heroes, they died killing the worst 'human' alive. But they were still his friends. No one can really get passed the fact that no matter what; no one will help you like friends do.

I cast my mind back to when a few of my friends and I held a raid at an airport back in England. We were all happy and we felt young...Until they all died. I was the sole survivor of the raid, after a nuclear device went off in the airfield. That's what we were trying to find in the first place, and then we would of used it to destroy the planet of Hellpast, where the Vaktovians were secretly hiding. Of course, we would of needed a space craft to use after we got the device. But, as all young people did, we dreamed of it from the moment we heard of the hate-filled Vaktovians.

I don't really remember much that day; we all waited for the beacon calling any surviving MI soldiers to return to the compound. We also sent a message to all the outposts we hold on other planets, sending the messages and giving the list of the dead to the commanders in charge of those bases, to tell all family of the disaster.

"Sir, Forage Of The Dammed is back from it's patrol, it seems like Hellpast has fallen into anarchy and the whole planet is killing eachother." I stumbled backwards to the voice.A rookie who recentlly joined the MI. I checked his callsign on his power-armour, his name was Vakspray.

"Okay, tell them to send the communications through the command centre, The Skymarshal will be glad to hear of it."

I stumbled back into my bed, walking passed the collapsed bodygaurd, and hoping that the whole events were a dream...
