I looked over to the Commander, being pushed around by one of the Vaktovians, in the hope of a mind meeting, but nothing came through. We were brisked away to the prison levels, where only thirty or so troopers were staying, which was were I wanted to be. I noticed three Vaktovian gaurds keeping their watchful eyes on us. As soon as we stepped into the holding cell the smell was what hit me first. I honestly had never smelt such horrific substance in my life. Then another thing hit me, the gaurd escorting us here went back to the hanger where we came from, leaving only two gaurds. And the final thing; Hardnut pickpocketed a pair of keys to get out. I looked at him, and saw the look of hope in his eyes. The gracefulness of the eye is normally unseen, but when you have fought beside such a person you begin an emotional attachment. All of my brigade, Lucky brigade, had been destroyed but Hardnut, Burnout, the commander and the driver. My brigade was pretty much what gave me life; and I knew Vaktus took that away from me, so I had to take away his life.
When I stopped thinking of my plan to kill Vaktus, I noticed Hardnut opening the door. And then we burst out, Hardnut and I, overpowering the gaurds. I grabbed one of the gaurds necks and twisted it, twisted it with all my might. His breath got short lived and I kicked his balls, just for satisfaction. Vaktovians had always bullied everyone, only recently have they changed from a political group to a full on mercenary army. When Hardnut finished with the other gaurd; we stole their guns and blasted a giant hole into their helmets, just so Vaktus couldn't enslave them into zombies. I turned and saw the look on thirty three faces, all shocked and scared. I beckoned them over; and we moved onwards to the armoury, where we could all get guns.
We moved up, encountering few gaurds, and entered the armoury. Each of the soldiers grabbed a gun and ammo, and Burnout grabbed a medkit. We moved to the hanger, where I knew there were a ton of Vaktovians and Vaktus himself. A soldier behind us kept laying C4 so we can blow the ship up after we escaped.
We reached the hanger, and sprayed too many bullets in Vaktovians. A few surviving Mobile Infantry soldiers grabbed some guns and fired at more Vaktovians, and soon we wiped out all Vaktovians apart from a few cowering and Vaktus ontop of an IFV, seemingliy meditating. The soldier planted a few more blocks of C4 and got into a dropship, along with all other Mobile Infantry soldiers. I was left with my Commander and Vaktus.
"You are going down" screamed the Commander, but his head promptly exploded after that, and Vaktus looked up at me...With the evil eyes he has.
"You will never beat me, child" dictated Vaktus. But I had over plans, one knife was left in my pocket which I kept for ages, that one knife will save all of mankind...I threw it at Vaktus, but it froze in mid-air
"Ahaha, puny child" said Vaktus, but I had enough, I launched at him and that was one thing he didn't expect, but the dropship with all MI on it left...And I knew that ment they had lost faith in me and were going to bring down the ship...
"We are both going to die, Vaktus. You might as well give up now, and save the impalement of shards from the ship" And what suprised me was, he took over my brain...And then he shot himself. I felt a surge of power in my brain, screams of the past and future, Vaktus was dead and I was the cause of it. Vaktus had been dispensed of the universe forever.
The ship exploded, a chain of C4 leading to the hanger burst...I cowered inside a crate knowing I was going to die. Then I thought, "I can save some documents, surely." I knew the C4 couldn't blow the ship fully apart, just cause minor chaos. I ran out towards the bridge of the ship, with my rifle poised for action.
There were no Vaktovians in the bridge, which alarmed me. I downloaded as many files onto paper as possible, and ran back to the hanger. Then the ship blew up, with me just managing to get in the crate. I felt gravity at its best, pulling the ship down to earth in different segments...
I attempted to get out, however there was no succesion...I thought I was stuck in this crate. I blasted at the hinge and it gave way, leading to burning heat hitting my face. The good thing is though, I wrote all of this down. As it took two hours for the ship to reach the ground as we were so far out of orbit. Well, I am probably dead now.
Oh yeah, the documents seem to be useful, they are in the crate still under the food supply which was the orriginal content of this crate. And if you read this note, it means someone came looking for survivers. Well, there aren't any. The heat from that impact means no one can survive. Oh well, at least I beat Vaktus. And this would make a great story for Burnout and Hardnut to tell their kids...
