Chapter Twenty-One

As an idol, there are a lot of rules that one should follow. Sacrifices that needs to be done and risks that should be taken. All of it is essential to protect their image and the ones that they care about.

But right now, BTOB is taking a risk to break some rules that may sacrifice their image.

Joo and the doctor already left, both have appointments to attend to. They didn't mind because it allows them to think as a group.

"Manager~nim will be here soon," Eunkwang told his members right after the phone call ended.

"What did the CEO told you??" Minhyuk immediately asked.

"Dispatch saw Ilhoon carrying Melody." The leader simply answered.

"I guess we have to deal with it now." Minhyuk shrugged.

"I'm sorry." Ilhoon apologized and bowed his head.

The room went silent. Each of them is deep thinking.

"It's fine with me. Whatever the outcome will be." Peniel speak up first making the members look at him with amusement.

"I mean. We need to face it sooner or later. We can't hide the fact that Ilhoon is in love with Melody. They're already dating before right? They'll have to tell the public too. After all, secrets do not remain secrets in this industry." Peniel explained further.

"He's right. Besides, we have to be there for her in case the media creates hiatus." Hyunsik added.

"I agree with Hyunsik~ah. Melody is quite fragile. We have to protect her. Even though she never complains. I can see through her eyes. She's already bearing too much." Changsub seriously looked at everyone.

"Noona is a part of this family. We will never let you fight this alone Ilhoon Hyung." Sungjae slightly smiled at Ilhoon.

Ilhoon was surprised. He's been with these guys for a long time but they still never fail to make him feel that he's alone whenever problems occur.

"Komawo.." He's been with this group for almost seven years yet each member never fails to amaze him. No matter what the situation is.

"I'm not against your decisions but I just want to ask.. are you all ready for what's about to come?" Eunkwang seriously looked on each pair of eyes in the room.

All six nodded.

"Well then, let's do our best to protect her," Eunkwang said and smiled at them. He was unsure of what will happen but as long as all of them stand as one, he believes everything can be conquered.

"Let's go back to our apartment now, we'll return after he talked to us." Eunkwang stood up while the rest followed except for Ilhoon.

"Hyung. Melody, she.." Ilhoon hesitated to follow knowing what Melody's condition is.

"We'll go back here. The doctor said she's okay now. She just needs to sleep." Eunkwang pats Ilhoon's shoulder to assure him that Melody will be fine.

"Okay." Ilhoon followed Eunkwang and went out of the apartment.

"What happened? Are you insane Ilhoon? Why are you so careless?? All of you, what the hell were you thinking? Eunkwang you're the leader, why did you let him do this?" Manager-nim immediately bombarded Ilhoon questions the moment they were gathered in BTOB's place.

"Mianhae Hyung." Ilhoon apologized.

"She's sick. And Ilhoon found her. I'm sure he panicked and forgot that dispatch has their eyes on us these days." Eunkwang calmly answered.
