AN:

Hi.

I apologize for not updating for a long time. I'm busy with work. Please understand.

Anyway, here's an update for those who are still reading and interested. :)

Melody's POV

My mother told me that whenever she feels sad, she always eat good food to make herself feel better.

So after crying and probably looking like a crazy woman outside the mall, I decided to roam around the city to find good food.

My feet dragged me to the night market. I think my stomach and my feet have a very special connection because my stomach started to make noises the moment I entered the crowded market.

A cozy looking small restaurant caught my eye. I entered the resto and sit near the window where I can see the crowded street.

I checked my phone and saw the messages from Ben asking what am I doing and complaining about how boring his meetings were. I just laughed and updated him how my day went leaving the part where I broke down and cried outside the mall. God. That was so embarrassing.

A kind looking lady approached me and ask for my order. "Omo. It's you. It's been a long time since you came here. Where's your boyfriend?"

"Uh. I'm sorry. I think you've mistaken me for someone else." I politely answered.

She thinks for a moment and turns her head slightly to the left thinking.

"No. I'm sure it was you. I won't forget you because you and your boyfriend helped me in the kitchen two years ago. I even gave you matching cat mugs. Are you using it??" "Eomma! I need help here!" She apologized and left immediately.

"Wait!" I tried to stop her but she was too fast.

A beautiful young lady approached me instead. "Joesonghabnida. Can I get your order?" I nod at her and stated my orders.

She looked amused and confused at the same time the moment she left my table.

Where's your boyfriend?

Boyfriend. I had a boyfriend?

Impossible Ugh. Having amnesia sucks.

I shrugged the thought and started to look around the resto and observe people. But not in a creepy way though. It's one of my habits whenever I go out alone. Observing people is fun. You get to see different scenarios and different characters. It's like watching a movie sometimes.

All of them are busy eating; some with their friends, some with their boyfriend/girlfriend.

"Aigoo. Melody. What are you doing outside alone?" I muttered to myself. My thoughts once again flew on that question Ahjumma asked.

"Thank you." I said as the young lady placed all the food on my table. She just smiled.

"Uh. Can I ask where the Ahjumma is earlier?" The young lady turned back to me.
