13: Is He Really What He Seems?

Jimin POV

"I NEED EMERGENCY SERVICE NOW!! JIMIN HAS BEEN SHOT IN HIS FIXED VEINS AND IS LOSING BLOOD!!" Taeyong yelled as he carried me around the building.

"Aish I'll be fine... quite yelling..."

"You look like you'll pass out, you're shirt is covered in blood, and the wound is still bleeding. You think you'll make it, cause I don't." I was placed onto the hospital bed, the wound being scanned immediately.

"Why... Why are there Jungkook's fingerprints around the skin?"

"He shot me and jammed the bullet into my skin. I had to force it out before it killed me." The reports came in within seconds, showing the shifted veins.

The doctors immediately cut the skin slightly, fixing the placement so the blood would flow to my heart, and sewn the skin shut. I had to be awake for the process to make sure I wouldn't have unusual reactions once I woke up.

"Thank you so much."

"Take care of the shoulder for a bit, and don't go on a few missions for a bit."

I walked up to my office, wincing when my shoulder hit into the chair.

Fuck you, Jeon...

You're making me hate you 3% less. Note, there is still is the other 97% left.

"Hyung... I found out who it is that shot you."

"Well Taeyong, show me."

"Kim Leehyuk. Joined Jungkook when he was 14 and is obsessed with him. He's always wanted Jungkook's attention, and to do so, he 'accidentally' shot you. I'm expecting to find his dead body by tonight, considering how Jeon is obsessed with you."

"Obsessed with me, what? Jeon fucking hates me."

"I don't believe Jeon was the one who initiated the shooting. It was unplanned. He saved your life because you're the only one who keeps him in some sort of fucked up sanity. He's madly in love with you."

"Yeah right. He hurt me cause he's in love with me."

"Basically... he wants attention because it could've been denied to him as a child, and instead met with horrible pain."

"Denied as a child? How-so?"

"I managed to find a couple death certificates, filed police and social services reports, and security footage. Turns out, Jeon never grew up in a good home. He had faced an alcoholic mother, never at home father, and user of a sister. He had gotten bullied in school and filed reports to security workers that he was being abused and did not have any protection. No one listened to him and when he was a teenager, he developed mental disorders. These are what's driving his kills. Pain from the past."

I was speechless.

Jeon Jungkook. The one man who drives everyone over the edge till death. The one man who is trying to convince me that my entire future will land in his hands and I can only sit back and watch it unravel. The one man who can't take no for an answer.

He grew up in neglection.

"Jimin, don't use this to treat him better. He's still a criminal that kills anyone in his path, be women, man, or child. He needs to be stopped before the entire world is at his feet, devoted and waiting for their orders." I tried to listen to Taeyong but I kept thinking about how Jungkook was treated.

The only reason why he's as psychotic as he is is that he came from the worst home, with the worst childhood, and can't do anything to change it.

Maybe I shouldn't be as mean to him as I am...
