55: Betrayal

Jimin POV

"Look, get back to the base and get everyone ready. Hoseok and Taeyong need to hack through all the airports and stop international flights. I'm going to track down Minhyun and work through him from the inside. They don't know I've gone rouge—
I was just off the grid. Meet me in the same factory where I killed Zico with all the cult members."

"What about him? Are we going to use him as bait?"

"He's.... useful to an extent..." I thought.

I stabbed him twice to make sure he wouldn't be capable of getting out of here.

Once we both left, I hid from cameras and stabbed my self 4 times and almost cried in pain. I did this because I wouldn't be able to get in without them believing I was kidnapped.

"Y-Yah...! H-Hel-Help me!!" I pushed myself into the building and everyone gathered around me.

I was rushed to emergency because they all knew me and that I was in danger. I was operated on and woke up the next morning in the emergency rooms.

And the first face I saw?

Lee Minhyun.

"Park Jimin? Everyone thought you were dead with Zico... but I'm the new director here, and since you are one of the most valuable agents, you will work directly under me after recovery."

"Sorry, I didn't catch your name,.."

"Lee Minhyun. Once your feeling okay, visit me in my office- someone will lead you there." I nodded and watched him leave.

God damn, I hate his face...

I limped my way to his office, acting like I was so pained, when I was perfectly fine. You know, besides the 4 stabs.

"Director Lee. Can I come in?"

The door opened and I entered what used to be Jin's office.

"Take a seat, Park Jimin."

I sat down and he started talking.

"I heard you were on the Jeon case... for almost 15 years. You also managed to manipulate him very well into handing himself in. Was your kidnapping... was it perhaps by him?"

I nodded... feeling odd about how much interest he was putting into this.

"Well, since your back. I have a few requests. You are an FBI agent, as always. This task will take down Jeon Jungkook for good."

"What is the task?"

"You must bring him back dead. Otherwise, you will be killed. Do you understand what you need to do?"

Damn it....

I really wish I didn't nod my head.
