Marissa was an ordinary girl who followed all the rules and didn't talk back to her teachers. But now she moved to Los Angeles, California away from all of her best friends..
It was Marissa's first day of school and she was so nervous.
"Honey! Wake up! You have to get ready for your first day of school!" shouted my mom from downstairs.
"ughhhhhhh okayyyyy" I said mumbling.
I got up and got in the shower then put on a blue Areopostale shirt and some skinny jeans and converse. Then I went to the bathroom and straightened my hair.
I skipped breakfast and went to the bus stop. There was this girl standing there also.
"Hi. I'm Marissa." I said to the girl.
"Hi.. My name's Skylar.. " she replied.
"Your the new girl aren't you?" she asked.
"Yeah."
"Where did you move here from?"
"Montana."
"That's far! Why'd you move?"
"My mom got a better job... It really sucks because now I don't have any friends.."
"Well now you do.."
"Really?! Yay!"
