Chapter 3

As the bus arrived to the school I started to feel butterflies in my stomach. Skylar and I walked to our lockers and there was this girl staring at me in the hallway.

"Who's that?"

"Her name is Brittney Mayor. She's the school's plastic. She dates all the nerdy guys so they will do her homework then she dumps them after she turns in her assignment. She's literally almost dated every guy in the school."

"Oh my god! Has she ever dated that guy on the bus?"

"IDK! WHY DO YOU CARE! DO YOU LIKE HIM OR SOMETHING!?!?"

"NO!"

"If yah say so..."

We started walking to our first hour, science class. While we were walking I saw Matthew and he looked me in the eye and I'll admit I got distracted and I ran into a teacher.

"Watch where you are going young lady!" the teacher told me firmly.

"I'm so sorry."

"Get to class!"

"Were you distracted by me?" Matthew came up and told me.

"No I wasn't I was looking at something else. I would never be distracted by you."

"Sureee.. I know you find me irresistible."

"No, I don't."

Skylar and I continued walking to class and we looking at the board to see where our seats were. So it turns out I sit with Matthew. Just my luck. I went and sat down and Matthew wasn't there yet. Then guess who walks in right after the bell rings.

"Sorry I'm late teach'."

"Take a seat Mr. Espinosa."

"Where do I sit?"

"Right there next to Ms. Bowers."

"Hey sunshine." Matthew said with a smirk when he sat down.

"Don't call me that."

"Awww come on babe."

"Don't call me babe and stop talking to me."

"Whatever. You'll come around sometime babe."

"Ugh"

One hour literally seemed like forever. All class period I had to try and ignore Matthew calling me "babe" and crap.
