Chapter 5

It was my second day of school and I already have a crush. God I hope I don't blush while he talks to me. That would be so embarrassing I can't even.

"Hey girl!" Skylar yelled as she saw me walk to the bus stop.

"Heyy! Ugh I'm so tired!"

"Girl sameeee!"

I was so nervous to see Matt on the bus. I hope he doesn't do anything embarrassing to me.

The bus arrived and I let Skylar go first this time.

"Hey babe."

"Hi."

Matthew was sitting by himself. What even. He grabbed my hand as I walked by and pulled me so I sat down next to him.

"No thanks."

I tried getting up but then he interlocked our fingers and I couldn't get away.

"Why won't you leave me alone?" I asked him.

"Because. I know you like me. And I like you to Marissa."

"No. I don't! You just think you are soooo much more perfect than everybody else so you think you can do whatever you want and have whatever you want!"

"Babe, babe, calm down."

"No!"

I ripped my fingers away from Matthew's and I went and sat by Skylar. I kept looking over at him and I know he kept looking at me.

We arrived at the school. And I went to all of my classes, as usual, and during lunch I saw Matthew kissing this girl by the lunch table. I tried to not throw up and I went over there because I wanted to apologize for what I said to him.

I tapped in Matthew's shoulder and he ignored me. Then I poked him even harder and he finally got his tounge out of this girl's mouth.

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't see you standing there."

"I wanted to apologize for what I said to you on the bus earlier."

"Oh. Babe, don't worry about it."

"Ughhhhh"

He continued making out with that girl and I tried not to barf while I ate my food.
