Chapter 9

Matthew took me to Starbucks and then we went and saw a movie. He actually took me to a romantic/sad movie and he was actually enjoying it After the movie He dropped me off at home.

"FYI that was not a date." I said to Matthew.

"Okay." Matthew said smirking.

"Bye."

"Bye."

I sneak upstairs to my room so hopefully my mom wouldn't hear me. I got to my room and changed I to my pajamas and went straight to bed.

*beep beep, beep beep*

I look over at my clock and it's 6:15. I go to the bus at 7 o'clock and school starts at 7:30. I got up took a shower, brushed my teeth, got dressed, and then ate some Cheerios. It was time to go to the bus stop so I grab my backpack and walk to the bus stop. As I get closer I didn't see Skylar.

Me: Hey where are you?

Skylar: I'm not feeling good

Me: Oh. Okay... I hope you feel better.

Skylar: Thanks

I get to school and I didn't see Matthew anywhere. Then somebody comes up from behind me and puts their hands in front of my eyes.

"Guess who!"

"Matthew. Stop."

"Hahahaha"

"Ha ha ha. Matthew now get to class." I said as I was sarcasticly laughing and I nudged him I the shoulder.

I start walking to my locker to put my backpack away and then I grabbed my books and walked to class. I walked into my first hour which was science class.

"Okay class. The person you are sitting next to right now is who will be your partner for the science fair, which you will present in 6 weeks." The teacher told the class.

Yes! I sit next to Matthew! Now I have an excuse to see him! Wait. Did I just say that?

"So it looks like we're partners Ms. Bowers." Matthew said with the biggest smile on his face.

"I guess we are."

"So do you want to me at my house or your house?"

"Umm how about my house?"

"Okay. I'll meet you at your locker after school."

"Okay?"

"Okay."
