Chapter 5: Ditching
Deren burst out of the door and hurries to where Oliver is standing. "Are you ready?" Oliver asked.
"I'm ready," Deren replied nervously. Oliver pulled his phone out of his bag and held it up to his ear. "Hey, mom could you pick us up?" He asked politely. Deren gave him a weird look. He slipped the phone back into his bag. "Just kidding, follow me." he laughed. Oliver led Deren around the school where his Jet-black motorcycle was parked. Deren was nervous because there were no helmets in sight. Oliver saw Deren's nervous expression and asked, "You coming on or not?"
"Uh-uh y-yeah," Deren replied, clearly still nervous. Deren was still hesitant as he climbed onto the motorcycle with Oliver. Deren was shaking a bit. "Is something wrong?" Oliver asked with concern. "D-don't we need helmets?" Deren asked cautiously. "No, you dork, We're only going a few miles." Oliver laughed. "Just hold on tight."
Deren's whole face was consumed by blush. "O-Ok..." He said, Wrapping his arms around Oliver in this weird hug-position that didn't seem to bother Oliver much. "Let's go," Oliver says, and before Deren can make a sound, they speed off to Oliver's house, leaving the school in a cloud of exhaust from the engine.
Oliver, who was the one driving the motorcycle, pulled up in front of the house and stopped. he hopped off, but Deren was struggling. The bike started to wobble and tip over- Oliver could tell Deren was scared. he scooped Deren up off of the bike right before it crashed to the ground. Luckily, there were an extra 2 inches of rubber on the sides of the handle, so when it fell it took no damage. Deren, however, had a huge scrape on his leg from the edge of the bike. Deren winced in pain, still being held by Oliver. "I-I'm sorry," Oliver said.
"Thank you," Deren said, thankfully.
"For what?"
"If you hadn't gotten me off that motorcycle, I would have been hurt much worse, so thanks!" Deren smiled. Oliver's heart was beating 100 bpm. "N-No problem.."
There was an awkward silence between the two of them. "Y-you can put me down now," Deren said smiling. "Oh, right!" Oliver said, smiling back. Oliver and Deren walked into Oliver's house, holding hands without noticing. Oliver unlocked the door. "So, I'm going to grab my wallet and some bandages for you, then we can head out " Oliver explained.
"To where, exactly?" Deren asked."Anywhere." Oliver said, "You can sit down if you want, I'll be back in a minute." Oliver instructed, walking into the kitchen. Deren hesitantly plopped down on the couch. Deren looked around the room. He stopped looking around and focused his vision on a golden picture frame. Inside the picture frame was a photo. In the photo, was what looked like an elementary schooler and a girl. I wonder if that kid is Oliver... Deren wondered. Oliver quietly stepped out of the kitchen in time to see Deren looking at the picture across the room. He snuck up behind him. "That's my mom." He said calmly, looking at the picture with a soft smile. "Wah! You scared me, sorry." Deren said. "...Where is she? Is she at work or something?" Deren asked nervously. Oliver was quiet for a moment, still smiling at the photo. "She.... She died 5 years ago...." Oliver explained. Did he seriously have to grow up without a mother?... Deren thought "I'm sorry I never should have-" Deren was cut off by Oliver. "It's ok. She's an important part of my past, which is over." Oliver made his way around the couch and sat down by Deren. "I got the bandages. May I see your leg?" Oliver asked politely. "O-Of course..." Deren awkwardly lifted his leg up onto the couch. "You don't have to be so awkward!" Oliver said, laughing. He started wrapping up his leg when Deren's thick, red blood started running down the side of his leg, dripping into a puddle on the couch. "O-Oh no! I'm sorry! I'll clean tha-" Deren stopped talking when Oliver bent down and calmly licked the blood off of Deren's bruised leg. He shivered at the feeling of Oliver's soft, wet tongue against his skin. Once Oliver had lapped up most of the blood, he started working his way up Deren's leg, rolling up his jeans as he went. (it's 7:11) Deren was shaking in fear of what would happen next. Oliver licked all the way up his thigh and stopped. He slid his hand up by his underwear and tried tugging them down. "O-Oliver... We can't..." Oliver stopped. "To be continued," he said, tilting his head. He looks so innocent... I can't resist him. Oliver opened his eyes, ready to stand up when Deren tackled him and pinned him onto the couch. He started kissing him furiously. Oliver could barely process what was happening. His eyes were wide open. It took Oliver a second to understand the situation, but once he did, he kissed back. Oliver and Deren were lost in each other's eyes. School was over by now, and it was getting dark. They fell asleep in each other's arms, both sleeping peacefully.
