"Hey, Leo? Do you know what happened to Deren?" Nora asked Leo (The wolf man).

"No, why?"
"Well, A few weeks ago, my Dad told me that they would help me once I went to their realm..."

"Then why did you kill Oliver?!"
"It's pure instinct!"

"Well, what if you went to their realm now? What do you think would happen?"

"I have no idea, but it's worth a shot."

Leo turned into a wolf and Nora rode on his back because Leo could remember the location of the portal, but Nora couldn't.

After running for several minutes, Leo and Nora arrived in front of the giant stone portal.

"Are you ready to go back?" Leo asked.

"Yea, I am."
Leo jumped through the portal.

Then they woke up.

Leo stood up as Nora rolled off of his back. "Hey Nora, Are you ok?" He asked, Nudging her with his paw. "Yessss" She groaned, sitting up.

"Why do we fall asleep every time we go through the portal?" Nora asked. Leo stared into the portal for a long moment.

"Sleeping magic."

"What?"

"A sleeping spell was cast on this portal, that's why it's purple and blue." Leo explained.

"Is that a good thing?"

"Yea, If there was no sleeping spell, we would have died while switching universes."

"Why?"

"I have no Idea. The portal seems to have put us in hypersleep on our way."
"Why does in need to do that? We're only in the portal for a couple of seconds."

"In other time zones, that journey would have taken years because the distance between universes is so great."

"Ok?"

Nora stood up.

"Where are we supposed to go, exactly?"

"Wherever Oliver and Deren came from, I guess."

Leo somehow knew exactly where to go.

"Lets go."

Nora climbed onto Leo's back and he ran through the forest of Hybridvil.

Once they got near the edge of the forest, A newspaper blew directly into Nora's face. Leo laughed. "What's that?"

Nora looked at the paper:

BREAKING NEWS!

On December 1st, 2018, A teenage boy named Deren Miyako went missing. He showed up at school a few days later, strangely. His literacy teacher, Amanda Kari, claimed that he got up and sat by another teenage boy named Oliver Rin-Kurami. She told him to sit down, but he refused. Deren Miyako picked up Oliver Rin-Kurami and Jumped out the 3 story window of the classroom. Their bodys however, have not been discovered. Last week, While the forest of hybridvil was being searched for them, A strange portal was discovered. It was hiding deep in the woods, next to the giant stone wall. This portal will soon be entered by some of our brave volunteers, Lunanova Grace, Patchwork buttons, and Marra Fawn.

"Oh shit!" Nora yelled

"What is it?!" Leo asked. Nora handed him the newspaper.

"Read this." He did.
