And I run and run and run. I keep running until my legs can't take it anymore and my heart is beating so fast that I believe it will soon get out of my chest. I'm exhausted, every single muscle in my body aches already, but I feel more alive now than I have done in the past two years. Perhaps it is this thing of being true to yourself.

As I look around, I notice I made it to my old neighbourhood, the one to which I had first moved when I graduated.

I treasure a lot of memories I made during my time here. In most, the sun seemed to shine brighter and my smile appeared to be broader. Maybe it was because I got to hold the hand of my best friend on my way back home. I was undoubtedly happier, because, deep inside, I thought that those moments in which I felt complete would exist forever.

Nevertheless, as usual, I was the one to destroy everything.

Life is always about making choices, and it is clear that I suck at that—otherwise, I wouldn't be standing here alone at night, wearing the dress I picked to marry another man, and having hurt a lot of people in the process.

But it isn't too late to repair a little bit of the damage I have done... At least, I hope so.

Hello! How's your Monday going so far?? I wish you all a nice start for this week (the last week before Christmas!!).

My intention was to post this part earlier but I got home kinda late. I'm even posting it from my phone (btw, the phone app seems to work better than the browser version in the computer ??).

I'm sorry this part is super short but I promise the next one will compensate for that, lol. I hope you like it (if so, leave a comment or a vote, please!!! They seriously make my day ♥).
