Alternative Ending

This is my alternative ending. I feel it would have changed the story into an entirely different thing but I felt I was being repetitive since I've done something similar for "My Racist Biracial Boyfriend." But I thought you all should still see how the story could have ended.

THIS IS NOT HOW THE STORY ENDS. I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT HOW THE STORY ENDS.(the ending is the previous chapter, this is just a glimpse of what the ending COULD'VE been)

Dear Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall of One Direction,

You're probably wondering why I'm writing this. I get it, what are my feelings right now?

How do I feel about the entire experience thing? Well truth is I feel just fine. Winning this writing contest and getting to meet one direction is just fine.

But since you all wanted a letter explaining my work, that's just what I'll give you. To be honest, I've only co written this piece to help my friend, Kiara. She wanted to meet you guys as well. She wrote almost as much of it as I did. I struggled a bit in the abuse factor. The bits where it was supposed to make you all and the fandom reading it emotional. I couldn't do it. In this book, what I've done mainly was to help the character representing Niall's character Niall grow. Not only into a better person, but to give you a glimpse into his emotional struggles despite his usual happiness. I thought that it was pretty important to show how the happiest of people could be broken inside. It is never possible to Know unless of course they tell you, or there are signs. It's okay to ask questions as long as you have good intent. In the end, everybody cared about Niall, and loved him anyways, constantly working to keep him happy despite not knowing completely how. That's an important aspect of this story.

Another big factor of this story I feel is that Sapphire's never completely comfortable with the boys. She always has freedom &family on her mind, she just goes about getting it safely. With a gunwielder in the house, it makes it hard to even try to escape. But she tries. Twice. She was smart about how she spoke to them. She knew that in a situation like this she had to keep positivity between her and her friend. So she does this. She develops a sensitivity to Niall after his breakdown, never really fully accepting him. But he's young just like her. I mean all of his friends are young adults, but he's perhaps her age. Or so she puts together one day after Harry talks a bit about the gang and how long they've been together. She doesn't like that someone so young has been drug into something so brutal. She also -deep down inside-doesn't like that when the cops find them, Niall also has to be arrested. She's entirely grateful heallfor the late Michael, and a bit for Louis who hasn't caused her as much harm as everybody else. She is completely broken by Niall having gotten arrested once she gets home and reads his letters. There was a point where she was scared of him, and placed him into the same category as everyone else, but it wasn't until she got home that she realized he was a good soul brought into something bad.

In the end, She's home again. She's happy. She tries to forget everything as if it never happened. The only thing that haunts her in this moment is the idea of Niall. A truly kind-young soul who'd been corrupted. And now he'd be paying for it for the rest of his teenage years plus more. He had no future as much as he should have. She just couldn't get it off her mind how she hadn't said anything to him before he was arrested when really, he was the reason she'd been set free.

Again, I'm thankful to have won this contest. I'm sure going on tour with you guys and publishing this story will be an amazing experience. I'm glad I was able to depict certain things about people and the things they go through with my writing. I'm hoping when you talk to me about my story, you guys tell me you've liked it. I've worked hard on it and I can't wait until I can see you guys.

Love,
Sierra Sapphire Browne
