Alana Hale's POV
"Son of who? Wait a minute... ARE YOU A DEMI-WHO TOO??"
"Its demiGOD Jade! Jeez how many times do people have to tell you? By the way my name is Alana Hale, and this is my best friend Jade Anderson."
"Do you guys know who your godly parent is yet?" asked Will.
"Are all of you high or something? I know for sure that my mom is no god, and my dad died before I was born." Jade said like she was speaking to a child.
"My mom told me that my dad went on a trip and never came back. My dad never knew me but mom always says that I look just like him," I said.
"Well you guys should be claimed by the bonfire tonight. But you seem to be doing better Alana, so I'd say that you are free to go."
Jade and I head out all different ages that were walking out of a pavilion. Kids of all different ages were everywhere. They all seemed to be heading in the same direction. I turned to look where they were heading and saw a huge fire that looked as if it were dancing in the wind. The people heading there were all so happy and joking around with each other.
"Jade I think this is the bonfire Will was talking about! We should go over there! Maybe we will finally find out who our fathers are!"
"You don't ACTUALLY believe these people do you? Alana, these people belong in a mental hospital. I am not going to that fire."
"Come on Jade! It looks like so much fun! We can even sit in the back just for you."
"If anyone tries to talk to me, I am not responding. So don't yell at me for being rude."
"Okay fine lets go!"
We head to the bonfire, and as we got closer I couldn't help but become happy. I sit down with Jade, in the back as promised, and realize that the campers are singing a song that doesn't seem to be English. I slowly come to notice that people have stopped singing, and are staring in our direction. I look at Jade and see a strange symbol floating over her head.
"Ummm... Jade... there is a helmet above your head."
"What is your issue? Why would there be a helmet helmet above my head? And why are you all staring at me?"
That's when a man with the body of a horse stood up and said, "Jade Anderson, daughter of Hades." and everyone bowed down to Jade.
Jade Anderson's POV
I watched as everyone around me slowly bowed. In the midst of my confusion, I notice something starting to appear over Alana's head. I watched as a trident formed from thin air and hovered above her.
"Well it looks like you have a floaty thing too. There's a trident over your head!"
Alana looked puzzled as everyone began to focus their attention on her. The same man that had spoke before said, "Alana Hale, daughter of Poseidon."
"Jade what the heck is happening?"
"I have no idea, is this what Will meant by our godly parents?" Everyone began to shift their attention back to the fire, and the man with the horses body made his way through the crowd toward us. "Hello children, my name is Chiron. I'll have Percy and Nico show you where your cabins are. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood!"
I watched as he disappeared into the crowd of people, and then slowly turned towards Alana.
"Did we just find out who our fathers are? I mean are the gods actually real?" Alana asks.
