Alana Hale's POV

After walking in the woods for hours on end, we finally reached a road. The road had a sharp turn in it, and I could only see a small portion of it. I couldn't hear any cars, so I assumed not many people traveled on it. We started to walk down the road, when out of nowhere a taxi cab pulled up right in front of us. I had to pull Andy back so that he didn't get run over.

Slowly the window rolls down, showing the profile of a woman.

"Would you" said the women in the rivers seat.

"Like a" a women to the right of the driver sat forward.

"Ride dears" A third and final women peeked around the others, but there was something horribly off about them.

"You don't have eyes!", Andy blurts out.

"Are you sure you allowed to be driving that thing?" Alex asked worriedly.

The third lady rummaged around in the glove compartment for a minute, and then produced an eye. She passes it to the driver, who pushes the eye right back in her socket. She blinks a couple of times, letting the eye focus, and then looks back at us.

"See, no need to worry dears."

"Well, we do need a ride guys..", I say turning around slowly to the others, "It will be an adventure!" I hear Jade let out a long breathy sigh.

"Alana, I like my life. Sorry, that was rude, I like all of our lives. Do you really think it would be a smart choice to get in a car with complete strangers? Let alone crazy ones?"

"It will be fine Jade.", I turn back to the three ladies, "Can you take us to any beach town in Long Island".

"Oh of course dears", the second lady says.

"Hop in. And you might want to buckle up." says the third lady. Jade, Andy, and Alex all climb into the back seat of the car.

"Well, somebody has to sit on someone's lap" Jade quickly puts her pointer finger onto her nose, as a way of saying it won't be her. I shrug my shoulders and plop onto Andy's lap. At first he seemed shocked, but he eventually wraps his arms around my waist. I give him a quick kiss on the cheek. The next thing I know, we're all pinned to the back seat as the world outside flies past at an alarming rate. We had to be going over 100 miles per hour. I feel someone's hand latch onto my wrist, and I see that Jade is holding onto me with wide eyes.

"I told you they were crazy."

Jade Anderson's POV

The tires of the car screeched as we came to a sudden halt. As quickly as I could manage, I opened the door of the car, and stumbled out. I actually contemplated getting down on my hands and knees to kiss the ground, but I figured that'd be a little over dramatic. After saying their goodbyes, the three ladies sped off to find their next victims. I took a moment to look around at my surroundings. We'd been dropped off near a beach, because we needed to get on a boat headed for the sea of monsters, or the bermuda triangle as mortals call it. The sky was turning shades of orange and pink, and I watched as people made their way off of the beach, towards their bikes and cars. Turning back towards my friends, I yawned and said, "We should find a hotel to stay in for the night, then look around to see if there's any cruise ships around here heading for the Bermuda triangle." Everyone nodded in agreement.

"There's a hotel a few blocks that way." Andy pointed to his left, "I can see the vacancy sign from here."

"Um, guys?" Alana looks at us skeptically, as we all turn to look at her. "Did anyone happen to bring money along with them?" I think everyone physically face-palmed at our sheer stupidity.
