toxicity

so here we are. supposed to be studying for biology, instead ranting to wattpad.
so. toxicity. the word means the quality of being toxic or poisonous. we all know it, whatever whatever.
now, one of my so called "closest" friends is pretty fucking toxic. and i didnt even realize until we announced our school's musical for this spring

me and basically all my friends are freshman. thats right. we JUST came into high school. we're annoying to everyone else and we certainly do not get leads in musicals.

now, this friends comes in to french class first period and says "i think i'll go out for donna"
donna is the lead role. we're doing mamma mia for our musical
and immediately me and my best friend say "dont do that, leave it for a senior." because seniority always trumps everything. thats how it works!

long story short, me and this friend had a huge fight over this whole thing, and she got pissed at me, but we act fine around each other now. but she always tells me i have negative energy because she thinks she's an empath but in reality she has negative energy because all she does is talk shit about her senior guy "friend's" (that drives her to school) girlfriend that she hates. and if ANYONE makes a joke about said senior its fine. but the second it comes out of my mouth she gets pissed off.

other friend. known her since she moved to my elementary school in first grade. lives up the street.

one of my closest friends too. but she is pointedly mean to me and my other friends. now being mean in a friendly way (like saying "whats up whore") and in a mean way (calling someone a whore behind their back) are two different things. for example, this morning we had gym and she looked mad, and she is ALWAYS mad at someone, so i jokingly said "who are you mad at now" and she turned to me and said "nobody! why do you always ask my that? i dont fucking want to talk to you!" and she turns away. so now i'm just sitting there like "omg." and no one else really heard but a few of my friends gave me looks like "wtf just happened???" so then i just gave up.
