The holidays approached further with rather dull joy. With Norman missing, what was the group supposed to do, but worry and search for him? ADHOC was very reluctant to allow Ashleigh time off work to aid in Hypno and Benny's search. After enough deabate and Hypno's sharp tongue, ADHOC agreed.
They searched all the areas around Inkwell. Even in the mountains. But, nothing ever turned up.
After 9 days. They gave up. And accepted the worst. That Norman was gone.
Ashleigh however, still held hope that her friend would return. She returned to work. And once again sat behind her desk and began catching up on what she missed. Ashleigh dropped a file. As she bent over to pick it up, she noticed something under the little space that gaped the cubicles. It was a bage. Her eyes widened. It was Norman's. She quickly stuffed it into her little bag. And practically bolted out the door when the time for work was over. She got in her car, started it up and floored it down the road. Her mind was racing with questions. She picked up her phone and called Hypno. Voicemail. Great. Ashleigh left a voicemail then returned her concentration on the road. It was late. The sun was already going down passed the tall mountains. She took the I-21 Exit towards isle 1 where she lived with the tiny group she'd gown to love and cherish. Ashleigh pulled into the drive. Oh ho ho. Soon she'd be showing this to Hypno and Benny, then all they'd have to do was sneak back to ADHOC and find out what was really going on. She pulled her house key out and started to unlock the door-
WHACK!
She felt something whack her in the head. Ashleigh stumbled abit then felt arms grabbing her. She kicked at her attackers. But they then injected her with something. And well. She was out.
They took her back to ADHOC.
And once again, ADHOC had a backup droid. Should their original fail.
Andrew oversaw this one personally. As he'd always had a soft spot for her.
Same results. Only this time, the bot had been given a more humanoid body.
They named her Ashleigh Droid (Ashdroid for short)
