♛ B L O O D M O O N ♛MY FINGERS GUIDE my pencil in the back of my English book creating random sketches, Stars mostly take up the page I'm graffitiing. This is my usual routine in English on a Friday afternoon, zoning out from reality and scribbling on anything I can find. It's better than listening to Mr Collins ramble on about how fantastic Shakespeare was for an hour straight, I swear he's in love with the guy. . .
* School Bell *
"Oh would you look at that, it's the end of the day." Mr Collins announces, thank God.
"Doesn't time fly when your having fun?" He stupidly says earning few eye rolls from a couple of nearby students.
"We will continue with Shakespeare on Monday, have a nice weekend class." And with that everyone rushes out of classroom excited for the weekend.
I don't fancy joining the tsunami of students in the school corridors so I take my time stacking my books into my rucksack. When I'm done I sling my bag over my shoulder giving Mr Collins a quick wave goodbye before leaving the now empty classroom.
"Serena!" Turning around I follow the voice that called my name, it's the only person that I really talk to at Lakewood High, Mollie. Her wavy blonde hair jumps up and down as she skips down the corridor to catch up with me.
"Hey Moll."
"How's my bestie?" She slings her arm around my shoulder.
"Tired, exhausted, need my bed." A yawn follows after my response.
"Same! As as soon as I get home I'm crashing on my bed." She huffs.
Mollie relaxes against the wall her thumbs swiping away on her phone as I place some books in my jam packed locker, well I try to. Unexpectedly, I close my locker to spot Flynn standing next to me.
"What's up?" Flynn flashes a smile, pushing back his dark brown locks with his fingers. Flynn is pretty popular at Lakewood High, he's the schools Quarterback to be precise. To confirm your thoughts, yes, he usually has floods of girls constantly chasing after him.
So at the moment, I'm confused as to why he's even talking to someone as unpopular as me. Mollie's mouth drops open when she notices Flynn standing next to us.
"I'm just getting ready to go home." I simply tell him not really knowing what else to say.
"Oh, um, cool." He responds scratching the back of his neck nervously.
"Yep." I drawl out, I wasn't sure as to where this conversation was going.
"Have you heard about what's happening tonight?" He asks.
"I don't think so, what's happening?" I close my locker after I've finished packing my things away, soon after I turn to face him.
"Well there's this bonfire party in the woods, everyone from school's going." Mollie jumps up and down in excitement after the words leave his mouth.
"Come on Serena, we have to go!" Mollie screeches causing Flynn to chuckle.
"Im not sure. . . I've got quite a lot of homework due for Monday." It's the truth. . . Plus an excuse.
