SERENA'S POV :

MY EYES WERE wider than a deer's caught in headlights as I examined my chest area, a thick puddle of blood had soaked through my shirt turning it a shade of red. I couldn't help but cringe in repulse at the warm sticky feeling, I could feel the bloody shirt glueing to my skin uncomfortably.

I shudder in utter disgust.

I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs but nothing was coming out, not even words.

I've lost my voice.

My arms engulf me in hopes to stop the unpleasant metallic stench from invading my nose, but as seconds passed by the smell was becoming stronger, more overwhelming making me feel hot and faint.

My insides were twisting and turning violently, I could feel the bile rising up my throat quickly.

I was going to be sick.

With that thought I waste no time dashing out of the dining hall, I needed to find a toilet FAST as the thought of puking my guts out in front of everyone didn't sound the slightest appealing.

That would be extremely disgusting and embarrassing.

As I'm running my legs start to become numb. Beneath my feet the wooden floor now feels soft, not as much as even a firm carpet, but not right for oak planks.

My eyes start to grow heavy causing my body to sway, I was finding it difficult to make out the details of the room.

All of a sudden, nausea creeps from my abdomen to my head making the world go black. . .

My eyes start to flutter open as an icy liquid passes my lips, I feel the chill run down my esophagus and my head makes an involuntary shake.

God that's cold.

Looking down through my blurry vision my eyes meet with a glass of water being held to my lips, with little effort I wrap my hand around the large one holding it pushing it away from me slightly.

Slowly my eyes start to adjust to the brightly lit room revealing a huge crowd surrounding me, I feel claustrophobic.

What the hell, Did I. . . Pass out?

A gasp emits from me when I'm lifted off the floor effortlessly by a pair of strong arms, I could feel myself being carried out of the room. I look up to see a pair of stormy eyes boring into mine with concern and worry, Jake's stormy eyes.

Looking back I realise that everyone's watching us as he carries me out of the dining hall, I can feel my cheeks and the tips of my ears heating up from the amount of eyes following us. I nuzzle my face into his neck feeling his jaw tense against my temple, they all saw me pass out and I hated the attention I was receiving.

It was extremely uncomfortable.
