Marigoldfrost's Quest to Uncover the Secrecy Surrounding the Clans

Marigoldkit opened her eyes to find her self once again in a misty environment with the sound of running water close beside her. Marigoldkit questioned annoyedly, her mind mixed with confusion, as she looked all around her, 'Why? Why do I keep mysteriously start coming here? What's the purpose?'

She faintly could here the similar voice she heard from her last visit growl maniacally, "I know a way you can get revenge... it will destroy her spirit and when she has given up all hope you can exact your final revenge and send her to join starclan..." Though for some reason she couldn't see the strange dark gray and light gray mix furred tom tom planing with Glowpaw. Instead as the prophecy rang out a bit more clearer then the mysterious tom's threats Marigoldkit could see a brown furred tom emerging through the thick fog. Marigoldkit stared at the tom curiously as he got closer and could see the tom more clearly every paw-step he took towards her. Once the tom was only 2 fox-legths away from her Marigoldkit imedaitly recognized the tom's long brown fur and compassionate amber eyes, for it was no one other then her father!

With tears of joy flooding to her eyes Marigoldkit ran up to her father in pure joy of getting to see him again. Marigoldkit dug herself into her father's fur and purred deeply feeling like all her worrys were gone now that she was reunited with her father. Her father, Muddybrook, gave back a happy filled purr of his own and greeted warmly, "Hello Marigoldkit, it's so great to see you again! I've missed you so much! I've only been gone for half a moon and look at how much you've grown! Im so proud of you!"

Marigoldkit started to cry from both joy and regret and she apologize full heartedly, "Im so sorry for escaping the clan camp. It was so stupid of me to make up that plan to escape with my brother only to prove that I was strong enough to be an apprentice despite my knee issues, it was honestly my stupidest and most selfish mistake I've ever made. I've just missed you so much I-I can't even describe it in words."

Muddybrook gave her a understanding look and added, "Marigoldkit it's okay and it's not your fault I choose to risk my life to save you and your brother. And Im so sorry for leaving you and your brother when you guys were so young, but it was sadly my time to join Starclan."

Marigoldkit asked confusedly feeling even more guilty, "W-Wait does that mean you've died and joined starclan?"

Muddybrook sighed not wanting to admit the truth at first, but finally admitting, "Yes Marigoldkit I have joined starclan though I don't regret my decition to help my kits one bit if it meant I could have a chance to save you both."

Marigoldkit looked at her father again and realised even though she could see his past form that he still seemed to be made up of stars. Marigoldkit realised, 'I guess my father really did die, and I just didn't notice his starry pelt because I was just so happy to see him. But wait. Does that mean Applekit joined Starclan too?'

Marigoldkit opened her jaw to ask if her brother already joined Starclan, but almost as if he read her thoughts Muddybrook turned around unable to tell Marigoldkit the truth. Marigoldkit walked around her father to face him again desperate to know if her brother was still alive, to only have Muddybrook explain to her, "I know you might have many more questions Marigoldkit, but I dont have much time and I still have to warn you about something. If I answer anymore questions I wont be able to tell you something really important."

Marigoldkit sat down reluctantly trying to be patient as she could possibly be to hear the warning. Muddybrook sighed explaining, "I still feel your to young to carry this burden from the prophecy, but you are destined to achieve and accomplish so many great things. Not only to help our family, but all the clans. Though you need to return back to your clan as soon as possible before it's to late..."
