"Tear me to pieces, skin and bone. Hello, welcome home.""Hurry up, we don't have all day." Cyra hissed as she ran through the thick trees of the Trikru forests, Artigus traling behind her. She could've sworn she heard Artigus scoff behind her but decided to ignore it anyways. The sunlight was seeping through the treetops, burning holes in her skin. The only thing keeping the forest alive was their rhythmic footsteps and the distant rushing of water.
"We've been travelling all last night, and today - I deserve a break." Artigus argued, pushing himself to run in line with Cyra. "No." Was all Cyra could get out between deep, heavy breaths.
"You're the worst." Artigus said.
"You're lucky I haven't thrown you down a hill already." Cyra smirked, Artigus didn't say another word after - leaving the two to run in silence. Lexa told them that they had her protection, since Trikru would probably be near the ship - but that was the least of Cyra's worries. There was a chance Avon was on that ship, even Clarke, and she wasn't going to stop until she got her answers.
The distance sound of people only made Cyra run faster, Artigus struggling to keep up. Their screams of joy fueling the little bit of energy she had left in her. Cyra could briefly make out the edge of the ship through the foilage, her long strides turning into slow, silent steps.
"Come." Artigus whispered to Cyra from behind her, he tilted his head towards a tree. Cyra nodded her head as she followed Artigus up the tree, she took his hand as he pulled her up beside him to get a proper look. Artigus gripped his spear in anticipation, while Cyra just stared widely. The hiss of the door made her jump a little, there was a girl. Cyra watched as she hesitantly walked down the ramp of the ship - looking around in awe. She jumped off the ramp and threw her hands in the air.
"We're back bitches!" She screamed, even more people started to file out of the ship - their loud shouts of screams could probably be heard from a mile away. But these weren't just normal adults coming from the sky, they were kids, teenagers. Cyra furiously scanned her eyes around the crowds in hopes of finding her brother, or Clarke - or anyone she knew.
"Do you know these people?" Artigus said from beside her, studying each of the people.
"I might." Cyra said, her eyes never leaving the teenagers.
"-Try telling that to the two guys who tried to follow you out of their seats." Cyra head the familiar. voice of someone near her. She looked at Artgius who just sighed and nodded, she hopped to the next tree right above two people. Cyra had no clue who one of them was, but she could recognise that blonde hair from anywhere. Clarke. Artigus saw the emotion in her face as she incoherently mumbled a name - he reached his arm out to grab hers, stopping her from doing something she'd regret.
"You don't like being called Princess, do you, Princess?" The boy next to her said, Cyra could've sword she'd seen him somewhere before but couldn't put her finger on it. If it weren't for Artigus holding tightly onto her arm she would've jumped down without a second thought.
"Do you see that peak over there?" Clarke pointed over to a large peak in the distance that wowered over eveything else. The boy nodded, "Mount Weather, there's a radiation soaked forest between us and our next meal. They dropped us on the wrong damn mountain." Clarke said angrily, storming off into the sea of reckless teenagers.
