I stepped out of the elevator and and I noticed my employees started pretending like they're busy.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards my office.

"Good Morning Ms. Y/LN" Lauren greeted with a smirk on her face.

"Good morning Lauren" I replied casually making her frown.

I entered my office and noticed Lauren followed me inside.

"Uhmm.. Kenneth Smith called" Lauren said and I turned around giving her look.

Kenneth is my rival. He's also a CEO of a music company that always match up our sales. He's a threat, that's why I hate him.

"What does he want?"

"He wants to set up a meeting with you at 2 o'clock" Lauren said as she looks at her notes.

I sighed "Fine.. I'll meet him because I'm curious"

"You're always curious" Lauren giggled.

"It's one of my flaws Ms. Jauregui" I said leaning back on my chair.

"Well I think it's cute" Lauren winked at me and walked towards the door.

"By the way..." Lauren said and I snapped my eyes back at her.

"I miss you" Lauren husked making me smirk.

"I'll call you later" I said and she nodded.

Camila's POV

I just finished recording another song for my album and I asked the producer if I can record one more.

"Wow.. you're on fire today" Mike said and I shrugged.

"I'm just not tired yet.. and my voice is in condition" I said and he shook his head while smiling.

"Okay.. just take a 30 minute break and come back here"

I gave him my thumbs up and stepped out the studio.

I pulled my phone out and texted Y/N.

I sighed and locked my phone and jumped when I saw Dinah standing in front of me.

"Fuck... stop doing that!" I exclaimed making her giggle.

"So... you gonna tell me what happened with you last night or I'll guess?"

"Guess" I answered and she smirked.

I don't like where this is going

"I know why you're so giddy and happy lately....You got laid!" Dinah yelled and I slapped her arm.

"Keep your voice down! Mom's here" I whisper-yelled at her "and I didn't got laid.. i just met someone" I smiled

"And you're inlove with him already?" Dinah said while smirking.

"Actually, it's a her... and I'm not inlove.. I just think she's interesting"

"Damn Mila... I didn't know you go both ways"

"I don't know.. maybe" I shrugged and Dinah put one arm around my shoulders.

"Come on.. let's get some coffee. I heard Ken is selling this company to Sympho" (That's the name of your company.. I just came up with it now, sorry)

"What?! Why?" I exclaimed and Dinah just shrugged her shoulders.

"But I heard Sympho's CEO is a self centered bitch" I said making Dinah laugh.

"Don't worry Chancho.. we're super bitches. We can handle her" Dinah said and I shook my head smiling at what she just called us.

"You're weird" I said

"You love me"

Your POV

"Mr. Smith is here" Lauren said and I nodded.

"He's old... I mean, I thought he's the same age as you.." Lauren said and I giggled.

"He is. He's the oldest CEO in the music industry" I said as I stood up from my chair and walked towards the door.

I stepped inside the conference room and saw Ken sitting alone.

"Where's everyone?" I said making him smile.

"It's just me today Y/N.." He said and I nodded before walking to my seat across him.

"So.. why are you here" I asked

"I'm here to give you my company" Ken blurted out and I looked at him confused.

"What?" I asked again and he chuckled.

What kind of shit is this?

"You heard me..I'm giving you my company" he said and furrowed my brows.

"Why?" I asked and he just shrugged

"I'm old.." He chuckled

"So? Don't you want to pass it on to your son?" I asked

"He didn't want it.. so it's yours now"

"Why me?" I asked

"Because I know that you'll do great. You're one of the strongest and smartest person I know" He said and I sighed.

"At least let me buy it from you" I said and he nodded.

"Okay.. just give me any amount you want.." Ken said as he slowly stand up.

"I already talked to the employees and artists.. they already know" He said as he walk towards the door.

I feel nervous and scared at what he just did. I mean, how can I handle two companies at the same time?

"Ken.." I asked and he stopped his tracks. "I don't think I can handle it"

"You can.. you just don't know it yet" He said and I looked at him with a worried expression plastered on my face.

"You're gonna be fine.. I trust you" Ken said and I nodded slowly.

"I'll take good care of your company.. I promise." I said and he smiled.

"I know"

When he closed the door I felt sad and worried about him.

He's so nice and I hated myself for hating him.

Something's wrong... he wouldn't just give me his company that easily.

"Y/N?" Lauren called breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah.. I'm fine" I sighed "he just sold me his company" I said and Lauren smiled at me.

"That's good, right?" She asked and I nodded

"It is.. but something's off" I said as I pushed myself up to walk back in my office.

"You're just not used to getting things the easy way" Lauren said and I nodded.

"Maybe.. easy is boring" I said and walked out the conference room.
