Chapter Four: Suspisions

Leo's P.O.V

I watched as the Protector stopped walking, turned around, and looked at her own trail of blood. She looked at all of us, and shrugged, then began stumbling to that man. She was close to him when she started falling, but he caught her, the I caught what he said, but just barely.

"Jazy? Are you okay? How do I contact your friends?" He asked her.

"Just peachy. Yell 'Protector down' and they'll hear it. I've already covered our scents so were good." They smiled at each other, then the brother lifted her up, and yelled.

"Protector down!" He looked down at the girl, then the other protectors were there, looking at her worriedly.

The girl smiled at them, then mumbled, "Brother," after that she went limp in her brothers arms. They all looked at each other, then at him, and smiled.

"Despite the fact our leader's passed out from blood loss, welcome to the group, man." The biggest man said, while the other nodded along. Suddenly, they all froze, and looked at us. They looked at each other, then one of them stepped forward.

"We're sorry things went this way, tonight. We didn't mean to ruin you night. Congratulations, Alpha, on getting your son back. We're glad we could reunite you guys. As for the the pack, we're sorry if we scared you. We just couldn't let you die tonight, our leader loves you guys like her own pack, we couldn't let her lose anything else. Have a good night, and you can resume your party if you would like. We're always protecting you." The smaller male said, constantly looking over his shoulder for approval on what he said.

We all got surprised when the leader started moving, against all the protectors wishes. They all gathered around her, and her brother put her down, but leaning against him. She started moaning, and then she opened her eyes, and held her head.

"Hey, sis, you okay?" Her brother asked. He held her shoulders, and looked down at her. She looked up at him and nodded. Then she looked at her team. She smiled, and pulled them into a group hug. She slowly stood up, with her brothers assistance, and then she danced around after. Once she was done dancing, she lifted her cloak to look her wounds. I gasped, so did the rest of the gang, but because of her wounds, like everyone else, she was beat up pretty bad. Then she held out her hands, and they turned into scars.

'Holy crap' Parker said, through mind link

'That was awesome!' Jackson said.

'Something about her is familiar' I said, 'I don't know what though.'

They look at me, then at something behind me, so I did too. The girl was a werewolf. She was in wolf form right now, and she was jet black, with a little white heart on her nose. Then she was a human again, but her cloak was already on. She hugged the protectors, and said something to them, I couldn't make it out, but I read her lips.

"I got to go to my boys. They'll probably wondering where I disappeared to after I left them at school. I'm dropping you guys off, so I'll talk to you later. I love you guys. I see you later, bro. Let the guys, and girl, show you around. Love you guys. I gotta go talk to my boys." She smiled at Alpha, then nodded her head and they all disappeared.

'Did you guys see that through me?' I asked.

'Could it be her? I mean, it makes sense, but why wouldn't she tell us?' Parker asked.

'I don't know. I'm hurt. And confused.' Brad replied.

'I'll talk to her, okay? She'll trust me, she trusts me over you guys anyway. What do you want me to do, guys?' I ask, really upset, and hurt, that Jazlynn would do something like this.
