"Yes you do."

"No I don't!"

"Cheyenne, yes you do!"

"No I don't Kareena." I said for the hundredth time. She has been trying to convince me all day that I was catching feelings for Trey. Trey as in Trey Hartley! Just thinking about it made me shiver.

"Cheyenne, I'm your best friend. I know everything about you. Remember freshman year...Justin Granson..."

"That doesn't count! For one, he didn't even know my stupid ass existed and for two, I was a freshman for God sakes, I barely even knew what love was three years ago."

"I'm talking about the liking him part. You think I didn't see your face when Trey was talking about that girl from Vine? My great aunt could tell you like that boy and you know Aunt Barbara is crazy with her blind ass. Whether you like it or not, you're starting to catch feelings for him."

"Kareena, that was three days ago. I wasn't even frowning up because he said that. That didn't bother me, I mean we barely know each other. I can't catch feelings for someone I barely know..."

"Yeah, whatever you say. I'm telling you now, you didn't like what he said at his house because you're attracted to him more than you even realize. I gotta get home, I'll call you later." she grabbed her keys and headed out the door. "You need some dick in your life, that's what you need!" she said before she walked out.

"Kareena! Go home!" I laughed.

About thirty minutes after she left, I was laying across my bed working on my Psych paper. I was interrupted by my phone ringing.

"Hey dad." I said once I answered.

"Hey sweetie, how was your day?" he asked.

"Same as it always is, exhausting and boring." I smiled.

"You and Corey are coming this weekend right?"

"Do we have a choice daddy?" I said making us both laugh a little.

"That's true, maybe we can all hang out this weekend. Maybe go out for dinner or something."

"Sounds good to me."

"Perfect, tomorrow is Friday right?"

"Yes daddy. I swear if your head wasn't permanently attached to your body, you'd lose that too!"

"You got that right. Your old man has so much work all the time. But, I'll be there tomorrow around 5. Sounds good?"

"Sounds good."

"Alright baby girl. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay, bye dad. Love you."

"Love you too."

I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom cooking dinner. She was typing away on her laptop and cooking at the same damn time. Both of my parents were workaholics, but who am I to judge.

"You need any help?" I asked.

"Actually, I do! I have to run to the shop really quick. Watch dinner for me."

"Mom it's almost nine, you can't go to the store tomorrow morning."

"I wish I could but it's important honey."

"Okay, I'll watch dinner." I sighed. She kissed my forehead and grabbed the keys.

"Thanks honey." she said before she was out the door.

While I was boiling the noodles, my phone started ringing. It was Trey. Honestly, I have been avoiding him for the past few days. At lunch, I would sit next to Chris and during the class that I had with Trey, I wouldn't pay attention to him. After a few rings, I decided to answer.
