Hey guys, qwertyuiop1234abc requested a part two, so here it is.

Peter had missed one day of training because of his sensory overload. Than one day meant that Ava was taking every opportunity she could to either glare at him or make comments about his 'laziness'. Peter felt awful. There were only so many times that you can be called a menace before it starts getting to you, especially when the person calling you that is supposed to be your friend and teammate.

Fury and Coulson had explained to her that the spider was suffering from a sensory overload which made him rather ill but she didn't believe them, she thought that he must have lied to them and, somehow, convinced them to cover for him ditching.

Ava's anger came to a head during training, she had started snarling whenever Spider-Man said or did anything. By the end of training she had become openly hostile towards him and, with claws at his throat, had backed him into the corner. Spider-Man didn't fight back, he didn't want to hurt her. Iron Fist, Power Man and Nova all tried holding her off him but they were hindered similarly to Spider-Man, they didn't want to hurt her, either.

Fury and Coulson had stormed into the room and pulled White Tiger of of the arachnid but not before she had managed to rake her claws across his chest and under his chin. The cuts weren't fatal but they bled quite a lot.

Fury was angry, White Tiger had been told what had happened but, for some reason, wouldn't believe anyone when they told her the truth. She would only believe the story that she had concocted, simply because she couldn't comprehend the idea of being wrong. If people didn't agree with her then they must be lying.

White Tiger was half-feral: shouting curses and threats towards her teammates because she couldn't attack them herself due to Fury restraining her. She was far to upset for the given situation, if there was anyone who ought to be so upset at the situation it was Spider-Man who was sat quietly in the corner. The female hero had been ordered to work with Spider-Man, he was a good hero but she, like the vast majority of people, failed to notice.

Absently, Fury made a mental note to arrange for White Tiger, and possibly the entire team, to have a mental evaluation. White Tiger clearly had some kind of issues (possibly it was just her being a teenager)

"White Tiger, out!" Fury's order was heard clearly by everyone in the room, "Now. Cool down, we will talk about this later."

"What about him? He's a menace! Why is he even on the team? He goes solo all of the time and skips training whenever he feels like it! This is not my fault!"

"Out. Now." The spy's voice wasn't overly loud but carried the undertone of a threat. This time, she complied.

Minutes passed in silence. After the initial shock had worn off Coulson tried to make sure that everyone was okay. He got a series of nods from three of the disgruntled teens. Spider-Man had yet to move after White Tiger's attack, except to curl into a ball in the corner. Coulson attempted to put his hand on the spiders shoulder but he found that the arachnid just curled up even tighter before he could make contact.

"What is up with her?" Nova was confused and angry, White Tiger could be very strict and very bossy and he knew that she liked Spider-Man a lot less than him (which was saying something) but the way she had attacked Spider-Man was odd. He knew that the spider stopping training early and completely skipping training the next day had annoyed her but not enough to attack him right? Fury had told them that he was ill and he certainly hadn't looked all that great when they saw him in school, he couldn't understand what had gotten into her.

"I wanna know what's up with Spidey," Power Man said, looking at the hero in question.

"I would also like to know about his condition," agreed Iron Fist.

"If you want to know so bad then ask him," Nova blurted out, oblivious to how the wall crawling hero had not responded to the situation, other than to try and distance himself from it.

Nova's simple comment caused several minutes of arguing between Nova and Power Man. Iron Fist tried to coax Spider-Man out of his corner with little success while Fury and Coulson were getting increasingly annoyed by the situation.

"Enough! Meet me in the briefing room in ten minutes, including you, Spider-Man," ordered Fury before he walked out the room to get White Tiger.

Ten minutes later, the team of young heroes were sat in an awkward silence, waiting for Fury to explain the situation to them. Eventually, Fury spoke up.

"So," Fury began, "We are here to discuss certain actions performed by certain individuals in the last few days. I'm sure that you all know exactly what I am talking about," the man continued after a brief pause to survey the room, "Yesterday I told you all that Spider-Man was ill and unable to come to training because of it. Most of you accepted that fact, however, one of you refused to believe that he wasn't faking it, even going as far as to hit him after school yesterday when he tried to explain it." Fury let what he said sink in. Iron Fist, Nova and Power Man were all shocked that Ava would do that while White Tiger refused to feel guilty- if he could come to school then he could come to training, he deserved it. Spider-Man was still not responding to anything going on around him.

"If he was so ill then what 'illness' did he have?" Ava flared up, Spider-Man was being a baby and she wasn't okay with that!

"I was getting onto that, sit down," Fury commanded with a scary amount of authority, "Spider-Man was suffering from a sensory overload. His senses are already heightened and occasionally, I think that it is about once a month..." The spider mutely nodded to confirm the spy's assumption before Fury finished his explanation, "About once a month his senses are heightened even further into what is called a sensory overload. Usually, he can function mostly normal when they happen but, occasionally, they are worse and make it difficult for him to do anything. For the past few days he has been suffering from one of the bad ones, last time he had one of the bad ones he had to take couple a sick days because he couldn't do anything. It's a wonder that he could even make it through the day to get to training without any major issues. I know that some of you may think that a sensory overload wouldn't be much of an issue but I would advise you to withhold judgement until you have had one for yourself. Any questions?"

White Tiger was the first to ask a question, she wanted to know the answers to her questions, immediately. "Why did he get a day off after his 'sensory overload' but not on the day he had it? He was fine in school so why was training such an issue? How do you know that he wasn't lying to you to skip training, he has done it before?"

Fury sighed, "Did you honestly think that it would be fixed overnight? He wasn't 'fine' in school, you just didn't pay attention. And, I know that he wasn't lying because I trust him, if he was lying then he would have been swinging around the city, not spending a normal evening watching movies with friends. Any other questions?" When he got no more questions he stood up, dismissed the meeting and left the room.

Everyone started moving to leave, including Spider-Man who just wanted to go somewhere quiet to either sit on his own or cry. White Tiger muttered an apology before walking out, embarrassed. The boys all insisted on going out somewhere to eat, dragging Spider-Man with them. They wanted to make Spider-Man know that he could trust them with anything and refused to let him feel like he wasn't welcome. They were friends and nothing could change that, not even a sensory overload.

As always, I hope that you enjoyed this. I have several requests already but if you think of any ideas please don't hesitate to comment them or message me.

I have published the first few chapters of a full fanfic that I am writing called 'Lost Control' and I would appreciate it if you could check it out- on the last chapter that I wrote I said this but Wattpad glitched because it hates me, meaning that the last few words refused to be published.
