You up for breakfast?

Piper smiled as she read the text from Luke. She was happy to see him again, but panicked that she was still in bed. She rolled over, checking her clock to see the time was 8:17.

I'll be ready at 9.

Hopping out of bed, Piper took a quick shower and brushed her teeth. She played some of the music Luke had showed her while she chose an outfit.

She ran downstairs after changing and told her mum her plans for the day. Surprisingly, Mrs. Adams told Piper that she liked Luke and that she should have a good time. But what surprised her the most was the hug she gave her when Luke showed up.

Piper quickly let to of her mum and stepped outside, confused by the whole thing.

"How'd you sleep?" Luke asked as they sped away from her house.

"Better than I have in a while. Where are we going for breakfast?"

"Well actually, my roommates ordered from this really amazing diner so we'll eat at my place. Oh and don't worry I kicked them out." Luke smiled and reached for Piper like he was going to grab her hand, but then he quickly brought it back to the wheel.

"That's really nice. I want my own place as soon as I turn eighteen." Piper sighed, just dreaming about how nice it will be to not be controlled by her mother.

Luke nodded and a few moment later they pulled up to a small apartment complex.

The two stepped out of the car and this time, Luke grabbed her hand, walking into the building.

"You look nice today." Luke complimented as he waved to the concierge.

Piper blushed and looked down at her leggings and flannel, "Thank you."

The pair stepped into the elevator and pressed the buttons. Luke swung their hands back and forth and smiled at Piper, which made her feel jittery.

"Why are you smiling at me?" She looked at him weirdly but couldn't help but smile back.

"I'm holding your hand." He dragged out the last word and continued to swing their arms.

"Are you drunk?"

"No! I'm just happy to see you." Luke smiled wider and bit his lip.

Piper was shocked. No one was ever happy to see her. It was a nice change for once.

"Yeah, I'm happy to see you too." Her smile grew and they stepped off the elevator. She had forgotten what it was like to smile.

Luke pulled her down the hallway and unlocked his apartment. The two were still holding hands and smiling wide as Luke turned on the lights.

"Just a friend my fucking ass." A voice was clear from the couch and Luke a and Piper jumped apart.

A boy with purple hair smirked deviously at Luke and Piper.

"Shit, Mikey I though you were gone." Luke growled and pulled Piper to sit with him on the couch.

"I'm not and neither are the others."

Luke groaned and turned to his right, glancing at Piper. She smiled slightly, letting him know that it was okay.

"By the way I'm Michael." The boy smiled and reached over Luke to shake hands with her, "and you must be the famous Piper."

Luke sighed and she blushed, "That's me."

A few moments later, a boy with messy hair and a tan boy with dark hair came stumbling around the corner.

"This is Calum and Ashton." Luke checked to make sure Piper was okay with all of this.

"Nice to meet you." She smiled and they came to shake her hand.

"Luke won't stop talking about you, it gets annoying." Ashton grinned.

"Oh, sorry." Piper said awkwardly. What was she supposed to say to that?

The boys laughed and she stared at them with blank expressions, why was that funny? At least they seemed to be liking her.

"Don't worry about it, we're glad he's found something to talk about." Ashton smiled again.

"And every night I hea--"

"Pipe, why don't we go eat breakfast." Luke glared at Calum, which didn't go unnoticed by Piper, and took her hand. He pulled them up and away to the kitchen.

"I'm sorry about them." Luke apologized.

"I don't know why you're sorry, they're all kind of cool." She laughed and scooped some eggs onto her plate.

"I mean I guess, they just really embarrass me." He shrugged and set his plate down across from Piper's spot at the table. She nodded and he cleared his throat, "So what do you feel like doing after breakfast?"

Piper thought for minute before perking up, "I want to visit Addie sometime later today and maybe you can show me more music."

"I love Addie and I love music, sounds like a great day." Luke smiled and they ate their meals.
