Mason's POV
I woke up at eight the next morning. I didn't want to move because of how close I was to Alex. She smelled so fucking good I wanted to smell her all night so I slept with my face in her hair. Never had I wanted to cuddle with a girl before but with Alex that's all I wanted to do right now. She turned over looking me in the eyes with a huge smile. God she's gorgeous.
"Hello beautiful," I said giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Good morning, so what's the plan for today?" She asked.
"We can do whatever you want but later I have a family dinner I have to attend," I said.My dad wanted my sister and I to come over for dinner to discuss business. That's all he ever talks about now anyways. Ever since my mom died he got sucked up into a shell. I couldn't imagine how you can love someone so much that you can't function without them. Well except when it came to my sister. She looks exactly like our mother which explains why he's so overprotective when it came to her.
"Do you wanna come with?"Alex's eyes widened and I knew it was a bad idea. I don't even know why I wanted her to come; it's not like we are in a relationship. I'm just looking to hit it and quit it. Besides her meeting my family would only complicate things more when I end it. She was taking way too long to answer so I spoke again. " you can say no but you would miss out on meeting my bratty sister."
"Are you sure your dad wouldn't mind?" She asked biting her bottom lip.
"He won't," I promised.
"Okay, I have to go back to my house to get clothes," she said.
"Alright," I said.
Alex went to the bathroom while I got out of bed and went to the kitchen to make us breakfast. I started making sausage and eggs before Alex came down in just my white see through T-shirt. I almost burned the eggs staring at her. I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat as she made her way to the island sitting across from me.
"Smells good," she said.
"Thank you," I said smiling.
"What time is dinner?" She asked
" it's at 5 so we can pick up lunch after we go to your apartment and maybe catch a movie?" I asked.
"Sure," she said with a shrug.
After breakfast, we sat down and watched a movie on lifetime that I had absolutely no interest in but Alex seemed to like it. Which was all that mattered to me at this moment. After the movie was over, i went upstairs to get dressed and ready to leave while Alex put her clothes from yesterday on. I waited outside this time while she went up into her apartment to get dressed. I told her to pack a bag so she can spend the night again. I don't know what has gotten in to me but I loved the feeling of her next to me and I didn't want to miss an opportunity to have that feeling again.
She came out after 20 long minutes of waiting. I would have been upset if she didn't look sexy as hell. She wore a light gray almost silver knitted sweater that hung off her left shoulder with black ripped jeans. She wore laced up black heeled booties and her hair was down in loose curls. She wore little to no makeup but still was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I got out of the car and went around to open her door for her. She gave me a big smile and got in. I went around to the drivers seat.
"So where to for lunch?" I asked glancing over at her.
"Doesn't matter," she shrugged.
