"WHERE IS SHE?!" My head snapped forward, "ADELINA?!" Elijah--my breath caught in my throat.
"Calm down," the grip on my hand tightened, "It's showtime little witch." The comfort passed through his grasp before he stood, dusting at his jeans and aiming for the exit.
"Invisique..." I closed my eyes with the word, taking a deep breath to calm myself before following Klaus' lead.
"Brother!" The Hybrid greeted with a jovial demeanor.
"Now is not the time for games, Niklaus. Where is she? She's alive isn't she?--Isn't She!" His patience snapped quickly as he stormed up the stairs and toward Nik's stance, my breath catching at the sight of him--I shook my head: 'Now's not the time Adie! Let's focus on his rugged appearance when he no longer hates you!'
"She's alive," the painter's hand gripped the nobleman's shoulder, the promise in his eyes making Elijah deflate.
"She's really alive..." a smile supported his mouth.
"And she's been quite busy," Klaus teased.
"Where is she?" His desperation returned, "I have to see her."
"I know, brother. But you can't, not yet--" I watched a rage build behind brown eyes, my opportunity presented.
"Elijah..." He heard although my voice barely rose above a whisper, head moving to the empty space I filled. He frowned, clueless as to why I'd hide from him-- "Phasmatos." The third eldest saved his sibling from falling, Elijah's eyes rolling to the back of his head when my spell took effect. I waved a hand down myself, reappearing to the room-- "What are you all gawping at?!" Vampires unpaused, continuing to set up for the party while the silence of the room evaporated.
"Adie--"
"Just lay him on the couch, we just need Rebekah and Kol to hurry up with your saved sample of Finn's blood and we can get this started." I brushed off his concern, watching him begrudgingly follow my orders in silence. I took another breath, hoping panic was an emotion I could avoid in my future place over New Orleans.
"Adie?" I jumped, turning to see the face of a concerned wolf, Hayley's appearance forgotten in my self-wallowing.
"I'm fine," I cut off further questioning. "Why don't you get some rest in one of these spare bedrooms, you'll need it for tonight's trek," she refused to move. "Everythings fine, just please--I don't want to be worrying about you with where we're going..." She accepted my offer with a look of resistance, sulking into a nearby room so I could rejoin Klaus.
