Luke Hemmings went from a giraffe sized dork to a giraffe sized jerk. He let fame go to his head and broke away from his band mates and best friends to start his own solo career, and everyone blames it on Acacia. Yes, they dated for a few months, and yes, over the course of their relationship Acacia convinced him that he was so much better without the boys, but that didn't mean she had anything to do with him going solo. Acacia Brinley was completely innocent. She hadn't corrupted Luke Hemmings at all. Luke had made his own choices.
Lily Michaels went from pretending to be outgoing to fully accepting her introverted personality. Her parents blamed her friends, or lack thereof. Lily knew it was simply because that's how she was. People scared her. They were vicious, lying, back stabbing gossipers and trusting them was just a bad idea. Lily liked her forest green walls and comfy gold bedding. She liked her online schooling. She liked spending 24/7 in her room. She didn't mind it at all. She liked being who she was instead of being someone she wasn't to please her parents. She was seventeen years old and didn't have to do things to please her parents anymore. She was going to live her life how she wanted- wrapped in her green and gold comforter with a cup a soup and Netflix streaming on her laptop.
So what happens when Lily's parents send her to visit family in London all by herself? What happens when Luke has a CD signing in the same city? What happens when they're stuck in an elevator together for the next 36 hours? You'll just have to read and find out.
