I woke up on the floor of the airport with my ankle being wrapped up by an EMT. Luke was next to me getting checked out by a different EMT, clinging to my hand like he might float away if he let go. Lights were flashing in my face from the paparazzi being held back by airport security.
"How're you doing love?" Luke asked.
"I'm okay," I murmured groggily. "My ankle still hurts. I just want to go to London."
"I know baby." He squeezed my hand and kissed it gently. "I love you."
"Love you too," I said quietly.
"Lily pop!"
"Oh no," I groaned. The EMT finally finished wrapping up my ankle, so I crawled into Luke's lap and buried my face in his neck.
"Lily pop are you okay!?" My mom shouted, trying to fuss over me while I tried to force myself into Luke's skin practically.
"Mom, I'm fine. Chill," I reasoned, pushing her off. "Please stop touching me. I'm okay."
"I can't help it," she whined. "My baby is hurt."
"Honey, if she says she's fine, she's fine," my dad said calmly. "How ya really doing Lily pop?"
"Dad, I swear I'm okay." I sighed and turned my face back into Luke's neck, kissing it softly. He smiled a little, taking that as his queue to introduce himself to my parents.
"Hi," Luke said to my parents. "I'm Luke."
"This is my boyfriend," I told them, their eyes lighting up in shock, surprise and happiness.
"Really?" My mom asked, looking over him carefully. He was wearing black skinny jeans and a Blink 182 tee shirt. "He sure is handsome." Luke flushed a little and looked down, hiding his face a little in my hair.
"But," my mom continued. "You're coming home."
"What?" I asked. "No. I'm not."
"Lily, yes you-"
"Leslie, please." My dad cut her off. "Let Lily make her own decision. She's old enough now. Lily pop, what do you want to do?"
"I'm still going to London," I told them. "As soon as possible."

"I hate planes," Luke muttered, his leg shaking. I giggled and crawled from my giant seat into his. In order to compensate for our elevator accident, JFK had paid my family and Luke's a giant sum of money and was now flying us to London first class, free of charge.
"You'll be alright," I told him. "We can't really get stuck in here."
"We could crash," Luke pointed out. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "You're such a mood killer."
"Thanks," he joked. "I just hope we get there soon."
"So you can abandon me and run straight into Michael's arms," I teased.
"Who's the mood killer now?" Luke chuckled, kissing my forehead. I just giggled and settled into his lap, nestling my face into the crook of his neck.

"Oh my god." I stared up at the magnificent sights around me. "This is amazing."
"And to think you didn't want to come," Luke teased, holding my hand.
"Shut up," I giggled. "Come on, I have to get to my aunt and uncles house."
"And then you're coming to meet the boys after," Luke reminded me, calling a cab and loading our stuff in the trunk.
After we climbed in the cab and I gave the cabbie the address, I turned to Luke.
"I love you," he reminded me.
"I love you too," I replied, kissing his cheek.
