A/N: I say the word happy a lot in this one section of the chapter. I don't mean to be repetitive I just feel like that's how it would go down in real life, and sorry I've been so terrible about updating, I've been trying to finish my summer homework. I'm glad to know people are still interested in the story!

"Allison, do you wanna go to the frozen yogurt place with me?" Madeline comes into our temporary room in the house.

"Yeah of course."

The room is adorable. It's a light shade of green and has pictures of Drew's family in it. There's also a bunk bed, and I'm surprised why they wouldn't want to live here full time.

"I'm coming." Drew peeks in behind Madeline's shoulder.

"No you're not."

"Um excuse me Madeline, I'm the boyfriend so therefore I am going." He argues.

Not much of a good side in an argument though.

"C'mon Drew, do you really want to here us talk about boys and girl things?"

"Well yeah I'd love to hear Ally swoon over me." He flips his nonexistent hair.

She pushes him and shuts the door quickly.

"I think we both need a break from him." She laughs.

"Yeah, let's go. Just us." I smile at her. We link arms, heading out the door.

"Ally are you really going without me?" Drew pouts at me, and I roll my eyes.

"You'll live. We'll be back soon." I laugh at him.

Madeline shuts the door behind us and starts to ask me something.

"I do want to hangout with you, but I also want to ask you about my brother... If that's okay with you of course."

What could I possibly know that she doesn't? Well I'm curious to see what she has to ask.

"Is he happy?"

I didn't expect that one.

"I'm his sister, and Drew is a pretty carefree and happy guy. I just always want to make sure he's happy. I know we fight a lot, but I do care. He's like one of my best friends."

Madeline's point of view

I wait for her to answer. I can see how happy she makes him, but I just want to make sure.

"Yeah I really think he's happy. I wouldn't give myself so much credit for it though." She pulls a strand of hair behind her ear. Is she clueless?

"Well I do know that he's been coming home with a grin on his face since you guys have been dating, so I would give you a lot." I laugh. I really hope she does know.

She hides her smile, but I can tell that I gave her some reassurance.

I honestly hope they keep dating. I know they're just in high school and usually those things don't last, but I have hope. They obviously are meant for each other, so who cares if they're younger? I can tell they're truly in love. I wouldn't want anyone else to be in a relationship with my brother. Ally's a keeper. I give out a silent prayer that everything goes well for them. Ally's actually such a nice person and I'm surprised I haven't been her friend or knew much about her before Drew. Of course I knew her because she's my neighbor and everyone calls her one of the nicest girls they know. I just never really talked to her, so I'm glad I am right now.

"What flavor do you plan on getting?" Ally breaks the silence from me doing so much thinking.

"I hope they have some fruity one."

"I hate the flavors that are sweet. Fruity is the only way to go. Once I went to get frozen yogurt and I ended up getting this really good sorbet." She tells me and I can't help but laugh a little.

"So you are a keeper, no wonder Drew loves you so much."

She humbly looks down and I really mean it when I can tell why he's fallen so hard over her.

It scares me though, for both of them. I don't want them to break up and one of them feel brutally heartbroken. Seeing my stupid little twin brother having his heart crushed is the last thing I want to see. And Ally? She's such a kind and thoughtful girl, seeing her upset would kill me.

They both love each other, so they can't breakup. It would hurt both of them...

"Are you okay Madeline?" She asks me, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, I've just been thinking about random stuff, nothing to worry about." I smile at her and she doesn't believe me, but I'm grateful she doesn't push on and ask me again.

Drew's point of view

I watch as glass shatters and I try to move Ally away. I ask her if she's okay and her eyes are watering. I examine her arm and there's a piece deep in her skin.

"It'll be okay baby," I reassure her.

"It hurts." She whimpers in pain.

I wake up sweating and realize it was only a dream. That's probably the weirdest dream I ever had.

I walk downstairs to get a glass of water and Madeline and my parents are sleeping on the couch. They probably fell asleep while watching some movie.

I walk back upstairs, and open Madeline and Allison's room. She looks so peaceful, and I wish I was that way tonight. She moves closer to the wall, and I want so badly to lay next to her.

I put my glass down on the desk and poke her arm, which isn't bleeding or cut.

I hear her grumble and I think she's awake.

"What do you want Madeline?" She asks in such a tired and attitude tone that I start laughing.

"Drew?" She rubs her eyes, and I feel bad for waking her up so late at night.

"Room for one more? Madeline and my parents are downstairs asleep."

I never feel guilty or like I'm doing something wrong when I sleep next to her. I've only done it once before and it's not like we're really doing anything. It's just nice to hold her.

She nods and I slide in next to her. Pushing her hair out of her face. I rest my arm over her stomach and she lightly lays her smooth hand on mine.

"You should set and alarm." She whispers, and I know what she means.

That I leave early in the morning so no one sees us.

I set it and rest again next to her.

"Good night, I love you." I tell her and she just nods.

"I love you too Drew." She mumbles. Part of me really wishes that it could be like this every night.

Her breathing is soft and slow, and I fall asleep to the rain patting the window.
