So this is what it felt like. Leaving a place you love the most with no going back. I mean, i couldn't complain. I was going to be able to start over. With a new life. New everything. So it wouldn't be as bad. Maybe my dad getting a new job will be good for us. Maybe moving was needed. Well at least thats what my mom said.
As we made our way to the new house all i did was sit in silence. I was trying to embrace everything i was leaving behind. I guess it still hasnt hit me? ill go with that.
But i couldn't do anything about it anyway. I, Kenzie Reese am leaving this old town for something new & ill make the best of it.
We arrived to the new house & well it was pretty nice & big. Better than the old one. Ill get use to it.
"Kenz" "Yes mom?" "Go get settled in, pick your room first then we'll let the boys, but hurry they seem to be checking them out already " , my mom was different & i liked that. She was carefree but a good mom at the same time & well my dad wasnt really around as much so she was the boss.
I decided to listen & go pick my room. I walked up the stairs & went through the hallway at the end theres was a room i walked through & it caught my attention.
It had a nice window & it was good enough for a girl my age. I then brought my bags & other things in & started setting everything up. Tomorrow i was going to go to my new school & get registered. I finished setting up somethings i then sat in a small couch i had from my old room & soon enough fell asleep.
