Truth or Dare (Chapter 13)

Idk why I like updating at night. I get a lot more creative. Hahaha not really.

Ok I feel like I'm really bad at these, but this is the first story I've written so sorry if it sucks (: lol okay well here's chapter 13 !

* Kenzies POV *

I wasn't paying much attention because I was on Twitter. Of course. I was actually in the middle of a tweet when I heard something that caught my attention.

"Matt Truth or dare" said Carter
"Dare" matt replied
"I dare you... to kiss.. the person on your left... "

I thought for a moment before I looked over.

I was on Matt's left side which means he just got dared to kiss ... me .

I completely froze not knowing what to do. My palms got sweaty & my heart was racing.

I've actually been waiting for this moment. But was Matt ?

I looked at his face & he looked as concerned as I was.

"Well go" said Carter giving him a smirk.
Than Matt gave him the death glare.

Matt then turned to me..
"Come here" he looked in my eyes while he grabbed my hand to help me up.
He lead me to the room in the hallway while everyone stared amused.
Sammy looked, hurt.

We got to the room & he closed the door. I sat on the bed.

"Woah" was all he said.
"I know right"
"So.. do you want to do it?"
I looked at him. How could I not want to kiss Matt . He was perfect in every way & I've been dying to do this.
I just smiled & shook my head yes.

A smile appeared on his face as he reached to grab my hand.

He looked me in the eyes & started to lean in. I did as well. His hand moved its way up to my cheek & then... inches away from our lips meeting.

Someone busted in through the door.

Carter .

"Hey guys times up" he said in a joking way & walked out.

I felt my cheeks get red & warm.
I didn't get to kiss him. Carter had to interrupt.

He just squeezed my hand.
I looked over at him slightly embarrassed.

"Lets go" he said with a smile as he lead me back to the living room.

Sammy gave me a disapproving look.
But I didn't care. All I wanted at this point was to kiss Matt. It felt like it was just the right thing to do.

After a couple more rounds I started getting sleepy so I layed my head on Matt's shoulder.

"Hey want me to take you home?"
"Sure" I smiled at him.

"Hey guys Kenzie is tired I'm going to drop her off I'll talk to you guys tomorrow "
Everyone said they're goodbyes.
I gave Sammy a quick hug & walked out.

Matt opened the door for me & I sat down.
"Crap Matt my mom just text me saying they're going to go out to the movies"
"So what's the problem "
"I don't have keys."
"Dang hmmmmm you can chill at my place till they come back "
"Thank you!" I smiled.

We got to Matt's house & walked in
"Everyone is probably in bed, lets go up to my room" he lead me upstairs & we went into his room.
"Do you want some comfy clothes?"
"I don't want to bother Matt "
"Nah it's fine. He handed me some grey sweats & a thin hoodie.
I was cold so I was happy he gave me such warm things.

"Thank you "
"No problem babe go change in the bathroom if you'd like"

So I did & I changed & I walked back out

"Well someone looks cute In my clothes " he smirked
I just smiled & looked around at the things in his room.
"Come sit. You must me tired" he said.
So I walked over there & Sat next to him.

" how was the party?"
"I liked it." I said
"Me too"
My eyes started to get heavier. I was super tired & all I wanted to do was sleep.
I layed my head on the pillow but wasn't comfortable.

"Come here" he smiled while he pulled me to his lap.

"I wouldn't mind " he said.

I ended up falling asleep on Matt's lap. Close to him was where I always wanted to be.
