It was a nice friday morning. I woke up in a good mood & got ready for school right away.
I put on a cute outfit & nice shoes.
I finished up my hair & stuff grabbed my bad & went downstairs.
"Hey momma i.." i was shoked by who i saw in the kitchen.
Matt was sitting there talking with my mom.
"Good morning hunny" said my mom
"Good morning mom" i said with a confused look
"I saw him waiting for you outside so i thought i would bring him in "
"Oh no its fine .. good morning Espinosa "
"Good morning beautiful "
I looked up shocked
My mom just smiled & went behing the counter.
" well were gonna get going mom love u "
"Bye hun remember you'll be home alone for a while im taking your brothers to baseball practice. " i just smiled & waved while closing the door behind me.
"So matt are you ready for the party tonight?"
"Yeah you seem excited "
"A bit " i winked

We were now in our last period & i was so ready to just get home do my work & get ready.
The bell rang & i made my way to Matt.
"Hello mr. Espinosa "
"Hi there ms. Reese"
"So i was thinking"
"Yes kenz..."
"Im home alone so you could come over & help with homework?" I smiled
" why not, but lets go now before the exit gets crowded"he grabbed my hand pulling me towards the door. & they slowly intertwined. I loved this feeling.
We were walking home & i saw he was looking at our connected hands.

When we got to my house we went straight to my room
"You can sit on my bed ill be back im going to check if theres any fod or drinks" i shot him a quick smile before walking out
*Matts POV*
I llooked around Kenzies room realizing she was very artsy.
But then i made my way back to her bed & waited for her to come.
"Hey matt " she said as she walked in with some water
"So what did you need help with kenz"
"This" & she handed me a paper
I could feel her staring at me as i examined the paper.
"Yeah this is easy, look"
I looked up at her to find her looking right at me.
"Is there something wrong "
"Nothing at all im super sleepy lets watch t.v."
"Fine" i laughed
We layed there well she did.
I just sat up watching her laugh & smile at the show. -------------------
Next thing you know her head is on my shoulder. Her eyes were closed. & i was to interested in the show to realize. She had fallen asleep on my shoulder. She looked so cute & cuddly
I tried to move her so she could sleep comfortably but she woke up
"Omg Matt sorry i was tired. Is my mom here yet? What time is it?"
"Calm down kenzie haha she'll be home soon its not late you were asleep for 15 minutes "
"Oh okay haha, well should you be getting home?"
"I suppose " i smiled
"Ill walk you to the door "
As she walked me all i could think about was going for it. A kiss ya know.
"Well thank you matt ill see you tonight."
"Yeah ill pick you up at 8 or 8:30"
"Ill be here" she smiled
Then we both went in for a kiss ON THE CHEEK & our faces met but our lips did not touch. Almost. But they didnt. She realized & moved back.
"Oh my im sorry i wasnt trying to kiss you matt i was ..."
"Calm down & come here "
I pulled her in & just kissed her cheek lightly. I pulled away & her eyes were closed... I smiled.
"See you then Kenzie"
"See you then Espinosa"

Okay i was going to add the party in this chapter but it would be tooooo long. So its going up next. Sorry for the long wait.
This is kind of a filler chapter but the next one will be good :)
