It was Sunday morning & i woke up brushed my teeth & decided to do my make up.

After putting my hair in a braid I went downstairs.

"Good morning mom"
"Good morning love, I guess you already got the news?"
"The news?"
"Yeah were going down to the Espinosa's later for a BBQ"
"THE ESPINOSAS AS IN MATT & HIS FAMILY "
"Yes silly"
"Oh my gosh uhm can i..."
"No Kenzie you can't pass on this. Go get ready we'll me walking over there at 4:30"

What the hell how did this happen. I bet it was Matt.

It was hot outside to I wore a Sun dress. It was a nice cute color. I kept my hair braided & put on some nice shoes. After I finished I decided to go on Twitter.

I tweeted people & other stuff. By the time I was done I checked the time & it was 4:15 so I went downstairs.

"Hey Kenzie help me out with this" said my mom so I did.

It was 4:28 so we started walking over.

It was just a couple houses down so we got there quick. My Mom insisted Id knock so I did.

Right away he was standing there. He looked so good.

"Hello Ms.Reese you look lovely" said Matt

Soon his mom & the rest of his family came up to the door.

I said hi to everyone, my family did as well.

We decided to head to their backyard when I was walked along I was pulled into another room.

"MATTHEW ESPINOSA YOU DONT JUST SCARE ME LIKE WHAT"
"haha I'm sorry but you should have seen the look on your face"
"Oh my gosh"
"What's wrong babe "
"First off, don't call me babe & second a barbeque ?"
"What do you mean, my parents planned this"
"Yeah okay I'll believe that... never"
"If I needed to talk to you I would of personally."
"Ugh"

I walked off & headed to their backyard

"Kenzie come here hun"
"Yes mom" I said
"We're going to eat go sit"

I did as told & sat down by the end of the table. Of course Matt came & sat right next to me. I looked over at him with an annoyed look & he just winked.

We finished eating & everyone was just having a conversation. I was just on Twitter or instagram or I would just dose off & look at random things.

I was tired so I laid my head back on the chair . I felt someone's hand grab mine I quickly looked over & it was Matt. What is he doing???

I pulled away & got up. I walked over to the side of the pool & sat there.

I then heard laughing & a shadow came over me. Before I could look back I felt a splash & I realized I was in the pool. I quickly found my way to the top & of course it was Matthew.

"MATT"
"You look cute" He kept laughing
"Oh no if I came down your coming down with me"

I quickly got out & went up behind him & pushed him in with me .

"KENZIE THIS IS SO COLD"
"Now you know how I felt" I said laughing
"COME HERE" he started swimming up to me in the pool & he grabbed my arm I released myself from his grip & started swimming away laughing

Then the water went still. I was confused until I felt a pair of arms wrap themselves around my wait from behind. It was Matt.

Be stared spinning me & circles & all I could do was laugh

"MATT" I could finally say out of breathe from laughing so hard

He then let me go & I turned to face him
"You're so cute you know that" He said to me

I just blushed

My feelings grew bigger for him each moment we were together. I knew I wanted Matt but I also knew I couldn't have him.

"Here get on my back" he said so I did

He was now just swimming around with me on his back. I just laid my head on his with my arms around his neck.

"I'm so sleepy " I yawned
"Here let's get out of the pool " he grabbed my hand & helped me out.

His mom had brought us towels so we used that.

"Here I'll let you borrow some clothes"

He lead me to his room
"How about sweats & a long shirt"

I nodded & smiled.

He handed me the clothes & I went to his bathroom to change.

When I finished I walked out to his room
"Dang my clothes look good on you" He winked
"Shut up I said playfully "

We walked back outside & we went aside from everyone to these comfy chairs.

I laid my head back while Matt sat up.

"So how's school"
"It's good"
"I have a question for you kenz"
"Shoot" I said with a smile
"Did that kiss mean anything to you"

I thought for a moment on what to respond.
"Well it was just a kiss "

His smile kinda faded
"Oh, yeah" " uhm well if it was more than just a kiss, would it be possible for us to be anything. Is there any possibility that we could be something"

I was half asleep & I didn't want to be talking about this. Not now at least. I made my decision to stay with Sammy. I think....
"Do you think there could be Matt? Would you ever even like me" I said then yawned
"Kenzie.."
"Yes.."
"I like you"

Those were the last words I heard before I fell asleep

I felt a pair of strong arms pick me up. I opened my eyes a bit to see it was Matt. We were still in his backyard. I didn't know where he was taking me So I just wrapped my arms around his neck & cuddled closer.

I was soon set back down & I took a quick glance and realized I was back home. He carried me back.

"Goodnight Kenzie, I'll see you tomorrow "

He gave me a quick kiss on my forehead

He started to walk off but before he did I pulled his hand back.

"Matt.."
"Yeah."
"Yes"
"Yes what??"
"Yes I did feel something in that kiss & yes. I do believe there could be something between us" I said still half asleep with my eyes closed
"Wait what"
"I like you Matt "
"I like you kenzie"
"Then kiss me loser"

So he did he didn't hold back. His lips soon came crashing down to mine & I felt that amazing feeling. I felt loved. I felt wanted.

He then pulled away

I could feel him staring at me with a smile on his face.

"Goodnight Matty " was all I said before passing out completely ~
