I finished getting ready & it was 5:28 I figured Sammy would be here soon...
right when I applied my lip gloss I heard my Mom call my name.
I ran downstairs
"Hey honey Sammy just knocked he's waiting outside"
"Thanks mom love you" I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek but before I could go she asked me a question
"Have you spoken to Matt?"
"Umm. Why do you ask?"
"Just wondering dear"
"Alright I'll see you later" & I walked out. I didn't want my mon to know we didn't talk anymore .
"Hello sammy"
"Why kenz you look lovely "
"Thank you" I smirked
He opened the door & I sat down
"What kind of music do you like?"
"Anything really" I replied

We got to the mall quickly .
Sammy of course wanted to go to a certain guy store so we went there first

Me & Cassandra were at the mall & were going to leave shopping to get some food but before we did I wanted to buy new sunglasses at my favorite store so we went.
As I was looking around with Cassandra she picked out a pair of glasses & was putting them on me when I hear someone call my name
...... Sammy??
"Matt my man"
"Hey Sa..."I looked up to see Kenzie walking up behind him. She then looked over at Cassandra & quickly looked away.
"Umm, hey Sammy what's up" we did our hand shake
"Who is this lovely girl" he said pointing to Cassandra
"I'm Cassandra"
she said smiling at him while leaning out her hand so he could shake it. She was such a flirt she always thought my friends were cute which is why it was always fun hanging out with her + she was funny
"I'm Sammy "
I then looked over at Kenz who was looking down at the floor, she rolled her eyes every time Cassandra would say something. But she still looked so cute.
"Hey Sammy isn't that the t-shirt you wanted " Kenzie said while she pointed to a black shirt with random letters on it.
"Oh yeah"
"I'll go get it for you" she said while walking away as fast as possible
"Thanks kenz " was all Sammy said before he continued his conversation with Cassandra
"I'm going to go buy these glasses"
I said while grabbing a random pair of glasses on a shelf.
"Hey kenz.." I said while walking up next to her
She turned around & then just stared at me.
"So you & sammy" I continued...
"Pretty cute if you ask me"
She looked at me & scoffed,
"Thanks matt, but your opinion wouldn't matter to me anyway"
she tried walking away but I grabbed her hand & turned her back around
"So what do you think about my girl Cassandra?"
She looked at me with disbelief & sadness
"I'm happy for you. But I feel bad for her, she's stuck with a selfish jerk"
"Jealousy isn't it kenz?"
"Fuck off Matthew "
She released herself from my grip & walked off..
I still walked close behind.
"Sammy can we go" said kenz with glossy eyes.
I hated seeing her cry, but I always made the mistake of being the reason behind it.
"Sure babe, well Cassandra, nice chat, hope to see you around! Stay put Matt I'll text you later " he said as he did a random handshake.
Kenzie walked out right away but before that she looked over at me, I looked at her with regret & she wiped her eye in a non showing way & walked right out.
With Sammy following close behind obviously.
"Selfish jerk" were the only words that were repeated in my mind over & over .
