Truth or Dare (Chapter 7)

Hi loves, thanks for reading btw :)))

It was 3:20 & i was just finishing up my homework. A couple minutes later i hear everyone get home My mom & siblings.

So i went downstairs & said hello

"Hey mom how was your day?"

"Good kenz, can you help me with the grocery bags please "

"Of course, then can i ask you a quick question? "

"Of course my love but hurry ice cream will melt"

I was helping her out & we finally finished.

"So whats up kenz?"
"Well mom i made a new friend today and..."
"OOOOH THATS LOVELY WHATS HER NAME?"
"His name is Matt, well Matthew but he likes being called Matt"
"Aw sweetie thats great & is he cute?" She gave me one of those mom winks
"Yes very & well is it okay if he... comes over around 5:30...?
"Yes of course. Homework already? "
"Haha no he just wanted me to show him around a bit "
"Ahhh a little get to know you, alright. Maybe he can stay for dinner as well "
"Maybe, im gonna go finish up my homework talk to u later mom"

It was 5:22 & i was sitting on my bed looking up at the ceiling thinking of how much i missed my friends when i heard the doorbell ring.
I then jumped out of my bed fixed my hair & put on some lipgloss & ran downstairs

"Nice to meet you, you must me matthew"
"Yes thats me & you must be..?"
"My mom..." i butted in
" oh hey Kenz" it was Matt.

"Come in " i smiled.
My mom had walked into the kitchen.
"You look nice" he said
" thanks. But i was wearing this all day.."
"Yeah i know, i just.. i dont know lets get this house tour started" he smirked.

Which i wont lie, its the hottest thing you could ever see.

" well these are my stairs & we should walk up them"
I could feel him looking at me the whole way up.
" these are all my brothers rooms & this one is mine "
"May i ?" He asked for permission to walk into my room
" of course " i smiled

" woah nice. I like it"
"Thank you Matt, shall we carry on?"
We walked down stairs & into the kitchen. Of course my mom was there.
"Hello kids, how may i help u "
"Nothing now mom thanks.."
"Hey Mrs. I never got your name"
"Oh yes little old Kenz interrupted our convo im Mrs. Reese but Jonnie is alright as well"

She was always trying to fit it which made me laugh.

We walked out of the kitchen & into the living room
"So is this really all we're doing?"
"Haha i hope not, maybe we could watch a movie or two? "
"Sure , pick one?"
"Hmm, lets watch Neighbors? "

We started watching neighbors, both of us sitting on the couch. When i remembered i should text Sammy, so i did.

* Text convo *

Me : Hey Sammy, its Kenzie

I instantly got a text back.

Sammy : Hello pretty girl :)

Me : what are you up too?

Sammy : nothing much just thinking about you...

"HAHAHA HOW LAME CAN HE GET" i realized Matt was looking over my shoulder at the conversation.
"That was pretty cheesy, but hes trying Matt. Give him a break. I mean can you do better??"
"Of course i can"
"Okay go, show me something " i giggled.
He smirked "maybe next time your ready for it"
" EXACTLY YOU GOT NOTHING "
"I've got you" he whispered
"What??"
"What"
" what ever lets watch the movies "

The whole time i was thinking about what Matt said , like what does that even mean.

* Text Convo *

Sammy : Ill see you at school tomorrow. We better talk more ;)

Me : of course :)

Sammy : glad ill be seeing your cute face everyday

Me : aw sammy

Sammy : ill talk to you tomorrow cutie, i got practice ;)

SAMMY WILK JUST CALLED ME CUTIE. UGHDHDUEI WHAT WAS THIS AMAZING FEELING.

I was smiling like crazy & Matt noticed.
"What happened now?"
"Its..."
".. sam im guessing "
"Yes Matt. "
" of course "
"Is someone.... jealous? "
"No. Why would i be?"
"Because i may like Sammy"

He got wide eyed
"You.. you like Sammy "
"I might. What do you think should i go for it?" I half smiled
"Uhm i mean. .." he than was interrupted by his phone going off.

"Yes mom, Alright be there soon"

"That was my mom she wants me home so i can babysit, but this was fun. " he smiled.
"Yes it was, ill text you?" I said while we walked to the door
"Yeah heres my number... just text me whenever. Ill see you tomorrow cutie. " he smiled & kissed my cheeks lighty but quickly
"Uhm i , yeah " i smiled but knew i was blushing.
" bye "he said as he walkes out waving.

I cleaned up then went upstairs
to my room. I once again layed down staring at my ceiling. Thinking, just thinking about Matthew Espinosa's soft lips on my cheek ..

Wooop chapter 7 was made kind of longer because i feel like short chapters just get boring.
